Funny that.... This matchup got all kinds of different reactions at KMC. Just ask frisky and No-Name. #evillaughsmil# I thought people said Akuma for the most part. She could probably hang a bit with the weaker Akuma, I wouldn't push her higher than that. Haven't seen anything to justify it myself. |

It's probably due to her bullet diflection technique being similar to Evil Ryu's... That and the exploding shopping mall thing. But none of that puts her in Akuma's league, nevermind Shin or Oni.
That said, she might yet be the girl to finally tame Akuma.... or would be if she didn't rely on the Feng Shui Engine so much.

That said, she might yet be the girl to finally tame Akuma.... or would be if she didn't rely on the Feng Shui Engine so much. Well you know people overhype feats there. She is powerful nonethless though. I always said she's in Ryu's range, not SF3 Ryu though. |

Yah, but she did school Chun-Li, Cammy and Guile on her own. That raises her steaks pretty high. Still not enough to topple Bison solo, but getting close.

The Semi Awakened Evil Ryu  The Fully Awakened Evil Ryu  And The Evolving Evil Ryu  The latter two forms are more or less permanent, he won't revert back from those, and each one is a stronger incarnation from the last one... Kinda like Akuma actually. |

Still.... Juri does have some good feats that put her above the throng. would she match Sagat? I couldn't give a definitive on that, but she would make the dude earn every inch even if he did win a majority.
Ryu is another one of those coin tosses, because Juri is one of those people who could push his buttons enough to tap SNH. And we all saw what ahppened to Viper when she tried it, he nearly broker her in half with one punch when she blocked it.

Yea, Juri is very powerful. Although I wonder if it is one of those "villain pushes", where they make the villain almost unbeatable, and then over time they become less of a threat. Who knows? I think she'd definitely be in the Ryu tier though, I'm not sure if I'd put her in the Bison tier.
