Twisted Metal is a great gaming series. Unique and has been around for a long time. I'm greatly looking forward to the new one that will be released later this year.
Who else loves this awesome series?

I'm playing it now. It looks great and feels great, like Black but with better graphics and more gameplay options.

Watched a review on this game and they discussing how the controls are weird at first
such as Square to accelerate and double tap circle to reverse
double-tap square than tip the controller forward using the six axis to get a boost followed by a dash-boost
basically saying do training mode first.

The gameplay is astoundingly good. The main issue was the online problems, but those have been fixed, much, much less of an issue than before. You used to disconnect quite frequently. Other than that the AI in single player is annoying on hardest difficulty as they cheat their ass off, but it can be overcome.

The gameplay is astoundingly good. And maybe the controls for some people. You can adjust those, the biggest thing is they switched the machine gun and the weapon fire button, god knows why.

Well, I've started some high level games online that have a great turnout. It pushes people up to the next notch. I'd love if this game has a longer life, they need to just tweak the connection issues and we may have another 6 months to year with many newcomers. I don't want it to be just the same people over and over again forever.

<3 TMPS3. Favorite in the series (though maybe only because it's been so long)

Honestly I'm the black sheep of the TM community.
4 is my favorite next to this one o.O
No doubt Black's single player was the best though. Leagues above this one.

I actually liked 4. I think people gave it a bit of a hard time. Yes, some of the characters were corny, but it had cool music, and I liked how each level had a secret section you could reach with cool stuff. I have it on my PSP along with Twisted Metal 2. 3 is the one I couldn't play now because of all the damned slipping. I think TM 2 is a good game, and great for it's time but a bit overhyped when people find it better than Black. Different strokes for different folks.

It annoys me when people talk bad about it >.> It was corny, sure. But the gameplay is what really counts. I was hooked from the first level. Though I hated what they did to poor Sweet Tooth. I really loved 2 when I was a kid. Seems to dated for me now. To this day Dark Tooth was the hardest thing I've ever done in a video game. I think that experience may have nudged me into gaming to be honest. When I beat it I practically did a backflip

I think that experience may have nudged me into gaming to be honest. When I beat it I practically did a backflip That Sweet Tooth is the most broken Twisted Metal character ever. I called his special the win button. Just fire it, even if they are on the other side of the wall and watch it go to work. 2 feels very dated. The sliding, the wall damage, I have head on for my PSP, that one is a bit more tolerable for me to play. Feels much smoother. I know the TMA people may complain about it from a competitive point of view. Truth be told I'm a single player guy as well. Hence all the game challenges.

Yeah, I used to be a single player kind of guy, but WoW turned me on to PvP. I don't think anyone ever beat my level 19 hunter. He was killing level 30s like nothing. God I spent way too much time on that game =P
Starting to come around to single player a bit more again though.

I moved up a bit to 99.6, I hardly do ranked, ever though, unless it's like 3am or something, lol. I can do both. It depends on the game. Once you find the right people everything else becomes great. Also, whenever you get a chance, simply post this in my thread as my posting restrictions are maxed again... "The game will begin on Thursday,March 29, 2012. 7pm Eastern Time. Lobby will open 15 mins early. Bring mics and headsets. Same rules apply, but will throw in some new Twists. I will send out invites to everyone I have gotten PSN's from sometime today." You can just edit the last part to say C-Master will send invites, but you get the point.

The small fast cars will be better once that tracking is toned down, no more cheesy spamming with homing crap. It gets ridiculous.
