So I got my first smartphone a few months ago. It's amazing, I don't know what I did with myself before I got this thing. I have the HTC EVO Shift 4G. It's not top of the line right now, but it's a great phone to get my feet wet with. I can do virtually anything with this phone. Even watch Netflix. What kind of smartphone do you all have?

I love neat gadgets. I take them apart and rebuild them often. You always find neat uses for them once you have them. I have the psp, a smartphone, and an ipod touch myself. I have tons of memory for games, movies, pictures, and everything else you could imagine. You don't need a 500 dollar phone to have fun. I have a HTC tilt, with keyboard and touchscreen, it's an older phone but I don't have to pay all the extra charges others do, and it works perfectly. I know how to take it apart and rebuild it if I have to as well.

Yeah I had an old blackberry and an old HTC phone that i guess were considered smartphones, but this one I got has Android on it. It's a huuuuuge step up I have to admit. Definitely great if you like media on the go. Pulling all your data from cell phone radios is really sweet. But if there is WIFI or a 4G signal my phone is just super fast. I'm going to learn how to root it soon, which is similar to hacking a PSP.
I want to get out the old PSP though. It's got a lot of nostalgia for me, and there's probably a lot of new cool stuff on it.

You have a psp? I find them online cheap. You can get a 3000 for like $50 if you look hard enough. I have tons of memory on it too, and I have a 32 gb ipod which I use for movie viewing. I think they excel at certain things. The ipod is great for web browsing, and the psp is great for gaming and I like the music/movie options it has on there too.

Yeah man I've had a PSP since '05. Hacked it as soon as I could  . Ever since development for it started to decline a couple years ago though I've kinda faded out of the scene and stopped using it as much. |

They're making a psp2. It has 2 analogs and a touchscreen and motion sensor. I've seen many improvements. They even have a 6.35 b which can hack even the 3000 with ease. Lots of neat games too. Much better than when it came out.
If I'm not mistaken the PSP Vita will be able to play ps2 games. That will be sweet.
