Is there a possible way to dig this all up and move things along? It's a well known interview/comment in Harry Potter circles. It caused issues with people who over-fantasized(Such as this RogueJedi and Quanche) over her creation and what they're capable of. She simple tried to base a little common sense. Wizards hide because humanity is far greater.

Cry all you want, it's J.K. Rowling's work of art; her opinion supersedes what you need. Is there a possible way to dig this all up and move things along? This is pretty much the extent of robtard's and my debates on kmc. He clings to one thing and holds on for dear life.

I'd have to say that caught off guard with a gun, the average wizard would die, as bullets are faster than sound. Upper level wizards could hold off a gun if prepared. They aren't stopping Nukes or anything like that though. Not without some massive power/help/plot device.

It's an older interview, so it may well not be online anymore. This is what J.K. Rowling was trying to express when asked "why do the wizards hide?".
