Ok, but fyi the terran inception ritual requires you to inject yourself with 8 stim packs over the course of a minute. And you don't get a medic.

And now for a quick rant.

The whole concept of Zerg is fucked. The only 1 supply unit that Zerg has is the Drone. THATS IT! Remember, zerglings are 0.5 supply. Roaches are now 2 supply. Hydras are 2 supply. Remember BW? 1 supply hydras, 0.5 lings that didn't suck crusty balls, FUCKING SCOURGE?! I really miss the majestic flow of masses of hydras/lings moving in for the kill. As this point in the beta, Terran has more units on the field than Zerg. wtf mayne. THESE TERRANS MUST BE CHINESE THERES SO GODDAMN MANY OF THEM! At least Protoss is staying true to its nature, and Terran is doing so pretty decently. Zerg plays like Protoss now. Get fucked, Zerg. Seduce me again when you get your identity back. ffs.

So you really are switching to terran huh? I really don't blame you though. Every unit above zerglings and drones having 2 supply or more makes me think you might as well be playing protoss. That's really screwed up. They really did ruin the zerg.

Nah I still like the zerg, even if they play like a watered down protoss. I can't leave them. I just hope that Blizz will realize how much they fucked up the race and fix it. Really looking forward to the overwhelming numbers aspect again. Zerglings don't cut it alone, especially now that they suck two dicks.

Dude, my computer is stuggling just to run portal right now. And I'm really hoping it isn't something like my CPU going bad. Getting the beta would be cool but I really doubt it will run. I did a stress test on my computer a while back, and the results were that the CPU was unstable; which basically means it will run but when it tries to go as fast as it can it'll produce inaccuracies...

What do you use to test those things? My laptop has been running slower in general lately and I think a diagnostic is in order.

OK these are the programs I use:

This is prime95, the one I was talking about, it basically cranks your CPU with lots of maths. It's not designed specifically for that purpose, but a lot of people who overclock use it for testing. That link has the version I use. I don't know if it's compatible with windows 7.

windbg is another program that's just really good to have. If you get a blue screen, you can use this to interpret the minidump it produces, and more than likely find the culprit. Not very accessible for a noob though. The only thing I know how to do on there is check my minidumps.

And these last two basically just tell you about the hardware.

That's Everest. It will tell you everything you will ever need to know about your hardware and then some. It's got a really nice accessible interface too.

This program has been a real help to me. It's a very low resource way to check the temperature in your cpu. There is a website that tells you what the max temp your system will handle is (without blue screening), but I didn't bookmark it . I'll find it later though. It's just cool to see how playing certain games effect the cpu temp.


EDIT: If you haven't defragged in a while, that may be the reason your computer is slow.
go start -> programs -> accessories -> system tools
and there's a windows defragmenter

Just defragmented my C drive. Apparently it really needed it. It still does too. I try to defrag it again but for some reason SC2 is remaining fragmented. For some reason it won't defragment. I'm gonna leave it alone for now, as it is the only thing that didn't defragment. I think this may have been what I needed though.

Or I've known you much longer than that and you used to be adverse to swearing because you hated when your brother did it. You do it occasionally when I talk to you in person or on pm's. You don't do it much on here until Mike's around... doesn't matter though I was just curious. It's not hard to notice when a person speaks differently. I haven't seen Andrew in two years and I know how he speaks, so every couple of weeks or so is a brief amount of time.

Yeah he means crash team racing. It's a pretty slick game. It's really got a lot of things going for it. Mechanics, speed, characters, not to mention it looks really good.
