Is my computer on drugs?

Well, my computer might not be on drugs, but I think it is pretty retarded.

Not too long ago I clicked on a link to go to a website, and you can see what happened in THIS IMAGE. If you can't tell what the number is at the bottom it is 53.

Not too long later Norton pops up warning me that iexplorer.exe is trying to access the internet (well duh). Why did it suddenly tell me this all of the sudden?

That's more of a hardware than software thing then. On my mom's comp she has that stupid thing where it asks if you want EACH and every cookie every time you start up a page.

iexplorer.exe isn't Internet Explorer, it is spyware. You should run a scan to get rid of it as soon as possible.

ugghhh. They tried to confuse me. I didn't catch that. Internet explorer is iexplore.exe.

edit: I'm going to reformat my computer anyway, so it will get rid of it.

I meant to say software, my bad. But Ron already came to the rescue...

One day a couple months ago Windows Installer popped up, and is trying to install fax. I didn't do anything for this to happen. It just appeared out of the blue. Now it tries to install every time I log onto the computer. I think that is kinda odd.

I had some awful spyware on the old comp once, the results weren't pretty.

Everything works now. I just reformatted my computer.

My computer is working fine now that it is formated, except that when I play video in Windows Media Player, the video is extremely dark.

Have you downloaded the latest drivers for your video card?

I figured out how what to do, and I fixed the video. For some reason though the resolution messed up. Now certain things look weird like these buttons:

That is something that I don't know about. I never use Windows Media Player.

WMP has done that to me randomly sometimes as well.
