I guess people can be competent sometimes, at least somewhat. While taxing millionaires and beyond more seems popular, people still think cutting spending is better. Some are finally catching on it seems. There may be a wee (and I mean wee) bit more hope than I thought.

Do both. That's what I'd do. Cut and trim the hell outta entitlement programs too. Raise taxes and all that other good shit. Time to live like grown ups!

They should raise taxes... for the 50% who don't pay any. I agree with you there.

Americans in a lot of cases are paying over half their paycheck in taxes, there are a lot of expenses people don't think about that get taken from them too. So we have to deal with half of our paycheck taken from us to go to the government. So it can be blown on stupid wars, half assed education, and given to leeches and people living off of the system. I think the government can't even manage what it has now.

By the way we spend 4 trillion a year, which is way too much. Taking more taxes won't fix our problem. We need to cut the government. Taxing people will only make it worse because they'll be less productive. Unless it's the 50% of people who pay zero. They need to be paying some.

Raising taxes even higher on everyone will get the job done cuz unlike the failures in Washington now, I'd spend it all on the right things.

Famous last words. Lol. The goons in Washington are too busy keeping themselves in for life and giving themselves huge pensions, haha. Another reasons those positions need limits.

They care more about keepin their jobs than they do, doing jobs. Which is insane cuz that implies that there are other ways to keep the job other than doing a Good job. lol

The best job security is to do a good job in the first place. By causing the mess they ensure they stay in, but it will cost them in the long run by playing this game.
