The Trayvon Martin/ George Zimmerman Case

[The Big Daddy C-Master]

I'm sure everyone has heard about this controversial case, that has everybody on two sides. This one has a lot of "maybe's" and I think many are turning it into a racial/class issue more than it should be. My thoughts are if a person kills someone in cold blood they are wrong, regardless of race, but if it's self defense it isn't wrong.

I didn't hear TOO much about this, mainly cause this kind of thing always turns into race wars, but from what I remember Martin assualted Zimmerman and Zimmerman turned out to be a crazy fuck with a gun and shot him, right? Nothing wrong with that.

Like I said though, I never follow stuff like this so I could be wrong

Well he was following Trayvon as he looked "suspicious" (his words) because he was in a neighborhood walking around.

He called the cops and kept following him. Trayvon attacked him, and by Zimmerman's words reached for his gun. That's when he was shot.

Of course this is a racial thing now, especially with elections coming up.

Well George was following him constantly, which I don't think was necessary. However you shouldn't assault someone for that. That's just my 2 cents.

Sad to see such a young man die so needlessly. I wasn't there so I can't comment on the accused, other than to say, the evidence is surely stackin up against'im. He's startin to look guilty.

Zimmerman? Last I checked Trayvon looked guilty. He only had bruises on his knuckles and was high, and just got kicked out of school. Zimmerman's story was proven to be true and he had his head busted open.

The only reason this went that far was because the media race baited the whole ordeal and blew it out of proportion. Obama just milked it for votes anyways.

He had a gash (that wasn't deep enough for stitches) on his head and it turned out his nose wasn't actually broken. That's not enough evidence for a self defense murder of someone who is physically smaller than you. I'd rather be the Martin's Family attorney, easy win. It can be easily proven that a kill shot was a lil excessive.

Coulda shot'im somewhere else, this is why professional law enforcement bodies are the only people who should be fightin crime with dangerous weapons.

Cuz it was in a struggle, I couldn't charge'im with 1st degree, but 2nd degree murder would fit, just fine. I'd make an example outta him; leave the vigilante street patrol to the comic books. Is this case still goin on?

He had a gash from being hit on the head from someone who was on drugs. It was not a murder (what in the hell is a self defense murder), the media took the crap and ran with it.

Trayvon was over 6 feet tall and was larger than Zimmerman. The only reason they'd win now is because the whole thing became a racial issue because of the media.

Should Trayvon have hit him for 2 minutes? 3 minutes? Should he have needed 50 stitches? 80? It wasn't murder at all.

Yeah, it was murder. A trained professional would not have shot Travon in any vital areas. He was a kid who was high off weed. I smoke weed and I can tell you that it doesn't make you stronger, faster, crazy or anything like that. It's not cocaine.

And Zimmerman was playin Batman. He "suspected" (his Spider senses were tingling) Trayvon was up to no good and tailed him with a loaded weapon. Trayvon then commited the criminal act of beatin the shit outta Zimmerman when he caught on to'im.

And lookin back at the facts, now. They are now chargin'im with 2nd degree murder. . .As I said. I'm not takin sides, I just know what's gonna happen and what may be brought up in the case.

The proper steps that need to be taken was simply callin the cops and waitin for them to come. 911 even told him not to follow the boy. Zimmerman has solved crimes before by just callin the police and helpin when they arrived. There was no need for this. It looks even worst when the kid you shoot actually lives in the gated community. Prosecutors will say he simply went too far this time.

You are taking sides, like almost all black people. Trayvon was still taller than him, Zimmerman was a short fat guy (relatively).

So you have to be a trained professional to use a gun? The guy was on top of him smashing his head into the pavement. Should he have waited until he needed 5 stitches? 20? 50? What if a woman shot a man who was smashing her head into the pavement? Would she be charged with murder? No, she'd be a national hero.

The point was the media went around skewing the story and making it seem like Trayvon was some innocent kid who never did anything wrong in his life. They outright lied about several details to push this racial nonsense. I'm black and *I* think it is stupid.

He did not tail him at all in that sense except to get info off of him. You need to listen to the actual call. He called the cops in advance and the altercation took place next to Zimmerman's car. So Trayvon came back to him. Trayvon had NO injuries whatsoever except on his knuckles (from beating the shit out of him) and the gunshot (when he was on top of him and Zimmerman said he was reach for his gun to take it). Why call the cops and murder someone if the were on their way.

No, the cops didn't charge him with ANYTHING originally. The media made it into a racial issue and the cops took him back in because of the average black man wanting blood. They made this into a racial issue even though Zimmerman is a minority and has a black grandparent himself. People were saying things that would have been called out if the person was black. Obama didn't help with his milking for votes.

Zimmerman WAS waiting, he got a description of him, but he wasn't running after him with a gun in hand. Trayvon came to him and beat the shit out of him and got shot. That's what happened. You are making it seem like he just came out of nowhere and shot him in the back which isn't true and is just propaganda. Don't just go by what the news is telling you because they skew it and leave out facts. They even outright lied.

It was manslaughter at most. A gated community means nothing, and he was visiting someone there. I live in a gated community myself and we don't go around beating up people, especially people who are armed.

It was just hearing people say that without the facts that got frustrating.
