Well if it's on PC then that will be where I'll be getting it of course. I think Tomb Raider started on the PC as well as the consoles. So either or. I'll take the better graphics, shorter loading times, cheaper price, and it will almost certainly have many custom mods. I'll probably get this.

Nope it didn't start on the PC, started off on the Sega Saturn disagree with the load times can be surprised what consoles can do these days. It was on all 3. And PC's definitely load much faster, better hardware. I play several games on both my PC and console and the console always loads much slower. PC usually has nonexistent load times. Street Fighter 4 on my Playstation has a few seconds of loading time even after an install where the PC has no loading time. Duke Nukem forever had a short loading time after the stage was loaded on PC, whereas the console versions had long loading times. Consoles are also more prone to lag and usually have worse netcode (if you're playing frame sensitive games).

And i'm saying it started off on the Sega Saturn Haven't experience any lag in any of the games i've played, It seems to only happen when playing online but that usually comes back to how the devs have set it up for online play.

And i'm saying it started off on the Sega Saturn Haven't experience any lag in any of the games i've played, It seems to only happen when playing online but that usually comes back to how the devs have set it up for online play. "The original game, titled Tomb Raider, made its debut on the Sega Saturn, PlayStation, and PC" "The first game in the Tomb Raider series was created by a team of just six people, and was released for Sega Saturn, Playstation and PC (and Mac)." They were released in the same year, it wasn't like there was a port to something else. They were all released at that time. One might have come out slightly sooner, but I don't think so. I don't mean just online lag, I mean frame lag in general. For fighting games the console versions have been known to have a frame or two of lag whereas the PC version is arcade perfect ( the arcade is a PC). Not saying console games are a laggy mess, but PC games do have the better netcode more often than not. There's almost always *some* lag when you play. Consoles just have more of it. If you play only on that system you will be used to it.

Oh I'm not either, but if I'm going to play the same game with better graphics, loading times, and more features for a cheaper price, why not? Lol. I definitely like old school games more because they played better more often even if the graphics were worse.

Especially when you came across people and they loose themselves in the graphics and the game physics those older Tomb Raiders (1,2,3) when they brought them out for PC wasn't that much difference mainly a HD makeover.

I like good graphics, I just want it to be enjoyable. But if I can choose between a car that runs good and a gorgeous car that runs good for the same price then why not? But sucky games with good graphics? Screw that. Modern gamers care more about graphics than anything else though.

You can do that with consoles too download it to the Hardrive which speeds up load times, Also i prefer a pshysical copy myself
speaking of load times found out there's none with this game and if there is you hardly notice it.

I know. I do it for my fighting games to get the best play online and all of that. It's still longer though. For me a physical copy depends. Nowadays I just prefer to download, but I guess if you're going from house to house or something having a disc is good. I do the same thing on my PC. Carrying around tons of discs, dvd's,cd's is just too much of a hassle for me. Especially when I'm on the go.

I have looked around and talked to people. The consoles run at 30 fps and 720p whereas the pc runs at 60 fps, and at least 1080. I didn't know they ran at different framerates though.

I picked the game up last week there's no loadtimes, its like playing those Batman Arkham games. Yea, they aren't too bad. I'm curious about that Tressfx funtion in the PC version. Supposed to make it look more realistic but it's GPU intensive.

I've heard that there's problems with the PC with the Quck time events sometimes they don't appear on the screen, Or even they appear and you press the button that's displayed and nothing happens.

Those are some people having issues with their graphics cards/other hardware being out of date. It runs fine overall. PC's are different in that different parts and configurations leads to different results. You still get a much higher res game that runs at a faster frame rate and loads faster (which is to be expected).

Console is locked at 30 fps, almost all console games play at that rate outside of a few games (usually 2d fighters). PC runs at 60 fps.

What i'm trying to get at with the console version mainly the PS3 one which i own, It runs good on it. None of the verions run "bad". But obviously an 8 year old $300 dollar machine isn't going to run as good as a modern more expensive machine that could be anywhere from $1500-$300 (less if you build it yourself and shop for cheap parts). The PS3 version looks better than X-Box though, when developers make games they make it on the weakest system then port it to the others as it saves time. They aren't going to make a super high end pc version then try to port it as it would be too time consuming and expensive to tweak. Unless the game was out on the PC way in advance. IE Crysis.
