I'm not expecting Hollywood to use it. But, the next big film industry will. It makes no sense to allocate all the work of a character to one guy. I always thought that was dumb and look at all the celebrity worship it creates as a result. Because the actor takes all the credit.

Oh I agree, and they get put on a pedestal and of course they are very liberal about all of this. I mean making money is fine but there are other more inexpensive ways to make movies.

It's costing them money too. Look what happens when an actor attached to a role dies? Heath Ledger for example. They'll regret it when they're broke.

But, don't you think they would've made more money over-time with Ledger as joker appearing in many more movies. Instead of making a bunch of money off just one movie? That interpretation of Joker died with ledger btw. I see that as a short term gain and a long term lose.

I have no problem with actors being popular and some like to be behind the scene and successful.

Well, I'm not against it. I just think it's a broken system. Look what happened with Paul Walker, the actor is so connected to the character that the character cannot continue in the story once the actor dies. It's because Paul Walker is Brain O Connor. There are some pros, like for example because of bales Batman being tied to him as a person. Afflecks Batman has to be different, same with the next joker post nolan. So, yeah there's that. But, it's such an inefficient system.

Some people just accept the character with an actor with how they're portrayed. I mean Daniel Radcliffe will always be seen as the Harry Potter guy, so there will be the ups and downs with it. I was speaking more about ways to decrease costs of working by using more machines which many unions are against in many places because they want to charge more for work that could have been done otherwise.

I saw the new movie about a month or so ago and I thought it was pretty good overall. The villain was weaker, but the action was solid and the plot was decent. I'd give the first movie the nod, but I'd say it was comparable to the second movie, maybe better.
