Thinking of pre-ordering this one and i'm not even a big Deadpool fan, Also High Moon Studio's is involved and they've already made two good Transformers games.

From what i'm hearing some of the critics are tearing this one apart.....Its mostly mixed

criticizing the gameplay, calling it repetitive.

So is God Of War but i haven't seen no one complain about that

Beat em up type games tend to be repetitive, it's the nature of the beast. Not necessarily bad if done properly. Other games usually have story or some other element to change things up. When you play a game like this you're just trying to beat up stuff.

And "dark" games like GoW get more attention because of the fact that it is more 'badass" and not comical. Which makes no sense whatsoever.

Activision’s Marvel titles has been removed from a number of digital distribution hubs, including Xbox Live, PSN and Steam

The news may also may add some weight to a story that popped up over the Christmas break, in which someone claiming to be a former artist on Deadpool suggested that working conditions on the game were less than great

“We had a couple of weeks were we crunched pretty aggressively on Deadpool,” said 'wester' on the Polycount forums. “Having Activision cut and cut and CUT just took its tole on so many of us.

“For a studio to demand that we do mandatory overtime for a project and then keep cutting so much time and money from it was ridiculous. At about halfway into development we were told that we weren't even aiming very high in terms of score.

“Can you imagine working on a game where your higher ups say ‘yeah we're shooting for a 64 or lower’ and then have them give you mandatory overtime?

“Btw I'm not shit talking the game. These are just facts. I hate that people find that they can't talk about these sorts of things out of fear of being ‘blacklisted’ or whatever. These kinds of business practices shouldn't happen period. The reward for doing overtime, is knowing that you're contributing to a damn good game, people are going to love and be inspired by what you do, good reviews and the FAIR possibility of bonuses.”

I read about that on Eventhubs, not sure the reasoning behind that.

I guess that's one of the advantages of buying physical, All it takes is something like this to happen and the digital one gets removed from sale.

Doesn't matter if you buy it; you still keep it. Even then, you can just buy the physical copy later if you really want to get it after the fact and it's no longer available.

that's happened with a couple of the games over at GOG

XIII, I think it was something to do with a license not 100% sure on that one

and now Fallout 1,2 & Tactics is gone thanks to Bethesda Softworks....but of course Steam gets priority ......gotta love that DRM

That's how it works sometimes. If you see the games cheap, clear em out! Deadpool is still floating around on Steam though.

I've tried out the older ones just can't get into them. Guess i prefer somewhat of a linerer to my games.
