Was the other one any good? It was solid although it garnered some complaints.

Found it after some digging. What did you guys think about this game? Especially, compared to SF4? I found this game didn't get much attention.

Here is some recent news from Eventhubs:
Bandai Namco's Katsuhiro Harada wants to bring something new to the table fans aren't expecting for Tekken X Street Fighter, the long promised entry which will pit the two fighting game franchises against each other again.
Expressing that expectations for TxSF have been built up a bit too much due to delays, Harada feels like they will need some kind of twist to draw people in.
"Tekken X Street Fighter is a game that's already been announced publicly. Just putting it out on the shelves won't be fun at all, after this long wait, so we need some sort of 'surprise'," said Harada.
Reason for the delay, Tekken X Street Fighter may end up being a working title
Harada repeated what he said previously about why Tekken X Street Fighter had been delayed — namely that it was difficult to get the game out when they had a lot of numbered titles being released.
They're facing a similar situation now with the upcoming releases of Street Fighter 5 and Tekken 7.
He added that the game known as Tekken X Street Fighter is actually just a working title, and when it's released, it may be called something different.
'Surprise' could be the reason for game's title change; character lineup and models have been completed
Some many be shocked to learn that the character lineup for TxSF was decided long ago, and the models and system are already done as well.
"It might look like we've made no progress at all, but we actually decided the character lineup quite some time ago, and we've also completed the polygon models, the moves and the game system as well," Harada stated.
Still, the game could change shape, if what Harada has in mind comes to fruition. Apparently, he's had this thought for awhile, but hasn't announced publicly what he's thinking.
"I'm not sure what will end up happening exactly, but I've had something in mind for a long time. So, we might even change the title of the game," noted Harada.

I haven't seen very much about it, Harada is more tight lipped about this. I do hope it is good though. Also you can use the search button on the right, works much better than KMC's.

Did you like the first game? Most people hated the gems and overall gameplay. How do you think it holds up against SF4?

It did try to fix some of the problems SF4 had by making it more footsie based and less based on setplay. Unfortunately it was buried by bad press. At least SFV is trying to do some of the things SFxT did better.

I think it was better than SF4 for sure. But, the bandwagon was to big for Sf4.

No revenge meter, better meter option, no crouch teching and more rush downs.

No revenge meter, better meter option, no crouch teching and more rush downs. The jab pressure was too strong early on but they fixed it later. They got rid of the vortex too.

Here is a very brief update from eventhubs:
Tekken X Street Fighter's release window is still undecided, says Bandai Namco
Last we heard of Tekken X Street Fighter, it was still in development.
Those anxiously awaiting the arrival of Bandai Namco's version of the company crossover project with Capcom might have to wait a while, it seems. According to a recent Official PlayStation Magazine interview with Tekken 7 senior game designer, Michael Murray, the time of release remains undecided.
"It’s still in development, but as far as a release window we haven’t really decided on that," Murray said.
This makes sense, as back in December 2015 Murray noted that the team is currently focusing on Tekken 7.
With the latest version of the game -- Fated Retribution -- on the way, hopefully this means that we'll be seeing more of Tekken X Street Fighter sooner rather than later.

Heres an update about Tekken X Street Fighter from nichegamer:
Tekken X Street Fighter is Officially Put on Hold
We’ve learned via GameSpot) that Bandai Namco has officially putTekken X Street Fighter on development hold.
“When we develop fighting games, we try to keep the core community in mind as well as the wider audience that wants to play these games,” game director Katsuhiro Harada said to GameSpot. “But currently the situation is with fighting games, you have Street Fighter V that just released–a lot of people are playing that fervently–and there’s a large crowd out there waiting or Tekken 7.”
Harada elaborated: “We don’t want to split these communities, so a good window in which to release Tekken x Street Fighter is something that’s become difficult recently. So it’s on hold for the moment.”
While Capcom’s Street Fighter X Tekken has seen release, it was announced together with Tekken X Street Fighter. Harada said they’ve released few updates for the game because of many reasons.
“One of the reasons is, Street Fighter X Tekken was released,” Harada said. “That still had updates until recently. One interesting thing we’ve seen with that title when it came out was that it’s not quite what we expected.”
According to Harada, Bandai Namco was simply looking for the right time to launch Tekken X Street Fighter. “It might seem like we haven’t started on it at all, but the character lineup has been decided upon since a very long time ago. And we’ve already finished the polygon models, moves, and systems.”
