Are the other two Electro and Rhino? It's kind of tough to make out at certain points.

They could be setting up the sinister 6 for the future movie.

I guess they wanted the tech/mech look for Rhino as they felt the other would have been too silly/ or not have fit.

I guess they felt the very old classic look would be out of touch. There's also the new big "hulk" goblin look.

The original design has been around for quite a long time. Although you have to keep in mind that the movie viewer base is a lot larger and more casual than comic readers and they do it from the perspective of casual appeal.
