Because it's not based on any logic. It's all based on make believe "feel good" nonsense. They just want to believe it "just because" regardless of facts.

So, basically the world actually exports goods and services that have value while America exports it's debt which the world thinks has value. Once they realize were worthless and dump our debt will have nothing to get by because we don't produce nothing.

Yes, and our infrastructure here is long gone and we don't have a lot of willing workers. It's a recipe for failure and we have trillions in debt.

It's alot easier to hire out for unskilled labor or use automation. Only jobs that companies might rely on Americas for is specialist jobs. But, the poor in reality rely on these unskilled jobs. But, because of marxist mentality have shot themselves in the foot.

Nowadays the only jobs we do are phony baloney service sector jobs that don't produce anything of value. That government jobs.

Well now they have the exit tax which steals a whopping 35% of your TOTAL net worth. Even after all of the taxes you pay they take another bite. This is for everything mind you and assumes you are all liquid.

Keep in mind just because your net worth is 10 million doesn't mean you have that much in the bank. So you're pretty much forced in many cases to close up shops and sell your business at a loss just to get out. And if you say your reason for leaving is taxes, you can't!

You call that a free country?

If your net worth isn't high enough for the exit tax, you still pay the fee of getting out, which is like $450.

I mean if America is so great, why are they trying to keep you here?

I don't know about permenantly, but we have to go through some down times now. I mean, our situation is horrible. We have trillions of debt and liabilities, and we're a welfare state that punishes business.

Maybe a generation or two in the future things can rebuild if people change their mentality, but our current society has too much of an entitlement mentality.

We could have had an easier recovery but our politicians just don't want to do the right thing because they won't get elected. If we have a competent politician (good luck, though Rand Paul seems solid), we'll still have to go through the down times while we get back on track. Well, the country is coming apart. Like I mentioned in my coming apart thread. The people on the upper middle class and higher are still american as ever. They're religious, industrious, etc. While the lower class is full blown marxist.
