It's ok if you don't have the steam version. I wasn't sure if you did. Well maybe one day lol. Yeah, one day is a possibility either a price cut or major update to add crossplay to all systems.

[Nina]
Ivory Cutter (1+4) damage on counter hit has been adjusted. Siren's Kiss (f+3) damage on counter hit has been adjusted. Note: It was previously found that Nina's Ivory Cutter on counter hit did less damage than on normal hit so that's probably what these changes are addressing.

Silver Cyclone Unblockable (d+3+4) damage has been reduced by 20. Stinging Rush to Mist Step (b+3,3~f) can now be cancelled into either back or side step. Mist Illusion (b+1+2 parry) recovery frames have been added by 10. (Made worse.)
[Miguel]
Trinidad Slash (u/f+3,2,2) hitbox on the 1st hit of this string has been made bigger.
[Kuma & Panda]
Jab Elbow Stomp (2,1,3) bug where the 2nd hit of this string's hit box would shrink after inputting the 3rd hit has been fixed. Killing Uppercut Grizzly Scratch (Hunting d/f+1,1) input window for the 2nd hit of this string has been reduced by 5 frames. Hunting to Standing (Hunting ~ Up) parrying low attacks while trying to stand up from hunting has been removed. Rabid Bear (fff+1+2) recovery frames have been reduced by 2. Tracking on the move has been reduced. Opponent recovers 3 frames faster after blocking this move.
[Eddy Gordo]
Rage Art (Rage b+3+4) no longer wall or balcony breaks. Eddy now recovers 9 frames slower after hitting with the Rage Art. Reversao (f+3+4) reduced 'movement momentum' for your opponent after being hit by the 1st hit of this string. Pushback has been shortened. Mao Esquerda (d/f+1) reduced 'movement momentum' for your opponent on hit. Pushback has been shortened. Meia-Lua de Compasso (d/b+3+4, 4, 3) reduced 'movement momentum' for your opponent after being hit by the 1st hit of this string. Pushback has been shortened. The hitbox on the 2nd hit of this string has been made bigger. Helicopter (Handstand 4) reduced 'movement momentum' for your opponent after being hit by the 1st hit of this string.
[Eliza]
Mid-Air Divekick (Jump qcb+3) properties on hit with an airborne opponent has been changed. Fireball to Moon Glide (qcf+1 or qcf+2 ~ SRK 3+4) bug where her Bloody Gauge (meter) would deplete after inputting this move in a specific timing has been fixed. ff+4,2, qcf+1+2 bug where she can use the EX version of the move without meter has been fixed. ff+4,2 into qcf,qcf+1+2 bug where she can use the Super version of the move without meter has been fixed. 2,2 reduced 'movement momentum' for your opponent after blocking the 1st hit of this string. Pushback on the 1st hit has also been shortened. The hitbox on the 2nd hit of this string has been made bigger. Down Jab into while standing (d+1~F) you recover 3 frames faster after performing a down jab and then going into standing state by pushing forward.
【System Balancing Changes】
Fixed certain characters who's throws had not properly applied the RAGE effect. Akuma's Hadouken will no longer allow certain Supers to armor and go right through it for a punish. (See this video clip on this funny interaction)
Eliza not receiving any chip damage after blocking supers have now been fixed. Eliza not receiving any meter after hitting or getting her EX moves blocked have now been fixed. Various other minor system bug fixes.

Since Guest Fighters will also have their own stage, Geese's stage is Geese Tower which takes place in a Dojo-like stage similar to the levels he had from Fatal Fury & KOFXIV. Hope everyone looking forward to December when Geese is added to the roster along with his stage added in. Source: eventhubs

Tekken 7's console sales have already exceeded 1.66 million
While Tekken 7 has been playable in the arcades since March 2015, the game didn't actually release on consoles and the PC until June 2nd of this year. It's only been a little over two months since then.
Regardless of this, the game has been selling very well. It has been confirmed by Bandai Namco that over 1.66 million units have been sold worldwide.
The title has been especially successful in the Americas and Europe. Japan, after all, has had access to the arcade version for quite some time now.
It's certainly looking like the console version will easily meet its expectations by the end of the year. Namco is hoping to achieve 2.1 million sales by then.

So they're blasting SFV then? Tekken 7 is just making bit more money than what SFV had back in 2016 since its launch while taking a year to getting their expected goal.

The Tekken reddit community is compiling a list of Tekken 7 concerns for Bandai Namco to address While the Tekken 7 release was much more well-received than Street Fighter V‘s, there were still issues found with the game that made it less enjoyable for a lot of players. Taking a page out of the Street Fighter community’s book, reddit users are currently compiling a list of issues that need to be addressed in order of urgency, as decided by the players, with plans to submit it to Bandai Namco. This, much like the one compiled by /r/StreetFighter, is being compiled by the /r/Tekken community, and all data compiled will be used to judge the order of importance placed on the issues. www.reddit.com/r/Tekken/comments/6v5tm2/tekken_7_list_of_community_issues_ranked_by/Source: shoryuken

PS4/PC Tekken 7 World Character Usage & Rank Distribution Charts Tekken 7 has been out for a few months now and the data is rolling in. Bloodywala on reddit has created charts using the data on the Tekken 7 leaderboards page to count every single player on there for the characters being used as well as the ranks earned. This data helps paint a picture of the characters and ranks a majority of the online Tekken player base have ended up with. All the data seen below account for players registered on the online leaderboards as of after August 30 so any of the players that have dropped off prior to the date aren't factored in. A bug was found on the standard base version of PlayStation 4 consoles where entering the Customization Mode would leave the game's graphical quality level on a higher spec than the system was capable of. While it may have looked prettier, it caused frame rate drops in normal modes after you left the customization mode. If you happen to be playing the game on a regular PS4 system, download the new update to squash the bug for good. ▌Tekken 7 Ver.1.06. Tekken 7 FR Arcade Online Update 'Version N' Balance Changelist
Tekken 7 Fated Retribution is updating to Version N later today in Japan & Korea and with it comes various character balance changes. The changelist was leaked online prior to the official reveal but here is a translation of the list which includes changes to Hwoarang, Xiaoyu, Jack, Bryan, Lili, Lee, Gigas, Leo, Lucky Chloe, Kazumi, Master Raven, Eddy, Nina & Eliza. Reading the list, it sounds like most of the changes made to the game were either bug fixes or adjustments to help consistency so it's not too severe of an overall meta shifting balance adjustment.
▌Tekken 7 Fated Retribution - Update Ver. N ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄
【Character Balancing Changes】
Hwoarang
Rage Drive 2 & 3 (In Rage u/f+3, 4, 3+4) has been adjusted so that you no longer lose rage status by just inputting the entire command. Human Cannonball (f+2+3) can now be done by performing a 'slide input' for the command (f+2~3). Note: Bug fixes. The Rage Drive now has to have the 2nd and 3rd hit connect to consume your rage.
Xiaoyu
Firecracker (AOP 4~3) now leaves you closer to the opponent on block. Xiaoyu will now also be in an aerial state after having the move blocked. Note: This makes the move now floatable on block.
Bryan
Snake Edge (d/f+3) attack hit box has been made bigger. Note: Bug fix, sometimes the move will completely whiff right in front of the opponent.
JACK-7
Rage Art (In Rage, b+1+2) attack hit box has been made bigger. Note: Assists in hitting opponents low profiling the Rage Art like with Dragunov's d+2.
Dragunov
Clipping Sweep (d/b+3) now starts up 2 frames slower. Pommel Swing (b+1, 2) 2nd hit now comes out 1 frame slower. Ballistic Upper (while standing 2) attack hit box has been made bigger. Note: Nerfs. The ws+2 change helps him punish certain lows that recovers in a low profile like Miguel's d/b+1
Lili
Edelweiss (d/b+4) attack hit box has been made bigger. Note: Like the Bryan change above.
Leo
Xiang Chui (d/f+2+3) now leaves you closer to the opponent on block. It now recovers 1 frame slower on block. It also recovers 4 frames slower on whiff. Note: Nerf, this makes the move -15 now.
Lucky Chloe
Rage Drive (In Rage, d/f+3+4 → 1+2) 1st hit on block makes the opponent recover 7 frames slower. The 1st hit has an additional 1 more frame of active hit frames. Pushback on the opponent after connecting with the 1st hit has also been reduced. Rage Drive (In Rage, d/f+3+4 → 1+2) 2nd hit on block now also makes the opponent recover 7 frames slower. Step Up (while crouching, d/f+4) now has 1 more additional active hit frame. Note: The pushback for Rage Drive on hit for the 1st hit should make the 2nd hit more easier in combos.
Josie
Step In Tracer (ff+4) attack hit box made bigger. The move now has 1 additional active hit frame. Note: Buff, this move would whiff a lot especially in cases where opponents would stand at the tip range or sidestep it.
Gigas
Monster Axe (f+2, d+1) attack hit box on the 2nd hit has been made bigger. Hell Crusher (In Goliath, 2) Now has 2 more additional active hit frames. Repelling Blast (d+1+2) Now has 1 more active hit frame. Note: Bug fix for the f+2,d+1 which would whiff a lot if the opponent was very close to Gigas.
Kazumi
Jab (1) range on the jab has been reduced. Standing four (4) now recovers 2 frames slower on block and on whiff. Crimson Dawn (d/f+1, 2) range on the 1st hit has been reduced. Note: Nerfs. Standing 4 on block is now -9.
Nina
Sideslip (qcf+3) now has crouching status. This move was also adjusted so the move will now connect in situations where it looks like it should hit. Note: This move used to 'push' the opponent away causing it to whiff when it looks like it should have hit. This has been fixed. Thanks YOU.
Master Raven
Quicksand Catastrophe (while crouching, d/f+3+4 → 4) attack hit box on the 1st hit has been made bigger. The frames where Master Raven has crouching status during the animation of the 1st hit of the move has been increased by 8 frames. Note: Bug fix, hitbox made bigger make it connect more often since opponents would go right through it sometimes when very close. She also is considered in crouching status for 8 frames longer during the 1st hit animation.
Lee
Lee Somersault (4, u+3) now leaves you closer to the opponent. Laser Edge Lee Somersault (d+4, n, 4, u+3) now leaves you closer to the opponent. Rear Cross Punch (b+2) attack hit box has been made bigger. Grass Snake (d/b+3+4) can now be done with d,d/b+3+4. Twister Heel (while standing 2, 4) now recovers 2 frames faster on hit and leaves you closer to the opponent. Silver Tail (while crouching, d/f+4) losing crouching status on this move by cancelling it into HMS has now been fixed. Note: Somersault changes make them easier to use in combos. d/b+3+4 change was to assist in not getting accidental Blazing Kicks. You won't lose crouching status by cancelling Silver Tail into HMS now.
Eddy
Rage Drive (In Rage, ff+3+4) your opponent recovers 7 frames slower after blocking the 1st hit of the Rage Drive. Note: You could interrupt the 2nd hit of this Rage Drive with certain moves even after blocking the 1st hit. This has now been changed to prevent that.
Eliza
Dark Blade (SRK 2) tracking/homing properties have been improved. Dark Blade Chaos (SRK 1+2) tracking/homing properties have been improved. d/f+2,3 -- Due to the 2nd hit of this move whiffing if you manage to land the 1st hit on the opponent's side, the properties of the 1st hit of this move for your opponent has been changed. Dark Cannon (qcb+3 & air qcb+3) now recovers 3 frames slower. Note: SRK = Shoryuken motion. forward, down, diagonal down & forward.
The d/f+2,3 change alters the opponent properties after getting hit by the 1st hit of d/f+2, 3. I don't have Eliza on my PC version so going by Japanese name or no move name listed. The patch notes for her dive kick is vague and doesn't specify if she recovers 3 frames slower on hit, block or whiff.
【System Changes】
Certain bugs with Eliza's projectile attacks being parried/reversed have been fixed. Certain bugs where air throws were not registering on Eliza after she is on the wall (wall splatted) have been fixed. Various other minor system bug fixes.

Tekken 7 has sold over two million copies since its console release in June
Tekken 7 technically came out back in 2015, but that was an arcade-only release in Japan. The game got its worldwide console release just a few months back on June 2nd, and it seems business has been booming ever since.
Twitter user NightmareSteam tweeted at Tekken 7 Director Katsuhiro Harada asking what the sales were for the latest title in the franchise. Harada responded by saying, "Over 2 million now (2017 June to September)."
Though Tekken 7 rarely takes the much coveted final game slot in fighting game tournaments, these numbers would suggest that it's more popular than one might think if using only major events as a barometer.
Since its February 2016 release Street Fighter 5, the usual tournament headliner, has sold 1.7 million copies. Tekken 7 almost hit this number after just two months on the shelves, and projects 2.1 million units sold by the end of 2017.

Why Tekken 7 doesn't have tutorial mode
Written By: Nyu Nozomi Hyuga
Fighting games are the type of games that aren't always easy to pick up and play like a noob (if you care about points/ranks), and some of these games require practice to deliver damaging combos along with understanding on how to play as your character. Tutorials are the best way into understanding on how these games are played, when it has the details that you would really need to know when mastering it, and standing a chance. But our fellow Director Katsuhiro Harada had other ideas when it came to his direction for Tekken 7, heres what he says in pcgamesn interview:
“We can tell with most of our games which modes players are spending time in, We have that data in our company. You hear a lot of people say this game is great because it has a tutorial but when we look at the data, not many people play these tutorial modes. This is the same when you buy something new, you take it home and you don’t read the manual. It’s a positive for your product if you can say you have a tutorial but when you take a closer look you notice that people aren’t really playing it.“
Even if not alot of people play through tutorial (maybe people just play right away without going in tutorials first), that is something you should have regardless cause what if I never played 3D fighters or need to understand mechanics? I wouldn't want to rely on internet just to understand some mechanics because you don't have a tutorial. Since tutorial mode isn't something that everyone plays, there is something else that will ease players:
“story mode was envisioned on teaching the player with baby steps whilst playing the game.” This direction came out of Tekken Tag Tournament 2’s fight lab mode, where players learned the game while playing.
“As you’re playing through the story mode, you naturally learn things like, ‘oh, this can be side stepped’ or ‘this character has this powerful special move if I learn how to use it properly.’ In the story mode, you can perform these with a simplified command so once you know about it, you can practice to perform this with the normal command.”
I don't recall Story Mode telling me details like that acting like a tutorial on how character has "powerful special move if I learn to use it properly", the game has that Story assist which doesn't teach you anything, and just having an easy time than trying to understand a new character. Story mode really isn't the mode on how I should understand the game especially the mechanics. I really think Harada isn't interested in getting people into the game at decent to high level play, and not having a tutorial mode really would most likely not get people into Tekken in a competitive level.

So they're blasting SFV then? Capcom expected SFV to sell 2 million in like 2 months. In reality, they sold like 1.7 million after almost a year and Tekken surpassed that in like 3 months or something. So, yeah, they didn't meet sales goals.

Geese Howard, Instant Rematch in Player Matches & Input Lag Updates Coming Soon
Amidst all the hubbub of the newly announced Noctis guest character, it's important to bring forward that during the announcement stream, both Harada and Murray made comments towards upcoming updates for Tekken 7. We did not get an exact date for the release of Geese Howard however he is currently undergoing examinations from 1st parties so expect him to drop on console and Steam real soon once they have been completed. Instant Rematching in Player Lobbies was the next topic with them saying that they're planning on implementing this in an upcoming future update to the game, so they do hear you on that. Last but not least was the Input Lag currently in the game. They remarked that they're currently working with Epic to make changes to help reduce the input lag. No word on how long that will take since it is a big undertaking on their end however they hope to have it out 'within the year.'
