I have no problem with games being done competitively personally. I don't play smash competitively but I know some who have. Their fanboyism can be irritating when they say games like Tekken are scrub games because it isn't Smash.

That's a bit worrying to hear, but I would imagine that's just the vocal scrubs, and not actually the top players themselves. You know what I mean?

Some are fanboys and some have played it competitively. Usually when someone just dismisses a game away as "garbage" without an intelligent explanation they are just a fanboy anyways. No need to listen to them. They can be very vocal though.

You can't let a bunch of fanboys ruin your opinion of a game though. I think Smash is a great series, because of how its able to be enjoyed at any level. That is a fantastic achievement.

I don't think Smash is bad, just that they're fanboys are annoying. I think SF4 fanboys might be replacing them in terms of obnoxiousness though. They've gotten ridiculous.

If they think games like KOF and Tekken are shitty because they're not as broken as Melee, that's cool. We don't need people like that in our communities anyways (I know that sounds very elitist and I'm sorry, but if they're going to completely dismiss something like that, it's not worth being forthcoming to them. I respect new players willing to put time and effort into a new game)

People don't want to think for themselves, they let the masses do the thinking because it's easy. Just do what everyone else says.

Also guys, what would you like to see Nintendo do for their next machine? Would you like to see Wiimotes return? Can you think of any other gimmicks they'll be likely to try?
