Hey man what's up? Just been busy that's all. What I'm hoping is Capcom gives us a proper Street Fighter game. I'm glad Capcom is doing exclusives this time because ten they can make a better game tbh.

I've heard some people say that. Some of course are complaining it isn't on Xbone. At the same time less hardware means they don't have to accommodate for all systems. Less of those stupid lag issues. This is why I'd like it if these consoles were phased out to be honest. I can by my stuff on less systems and have it be higher quality. Exclusives on the other hand can be annoying if I have to get another console for them. As long as its on PC it's fine though. Also it's possible to have cross console play between PC and PS4.

We have Dead or Alive coming on PC, Tekken 7 most likely. SFV at launch, plus 2 new Kof games. Looks like a good year for PC games.

Seems like it will only be on PS4 and not on Xbox at all. Cross play is big news, and you can also apparently guard break. Sweet, no more down/back fiesta?

Street Fighter 5 has been officially announced. Capcom has stated that they have partnered with PlayStation to create Street Fighter 5, and it will be forever exclusive on the console.

Street Fighter 5 will also contain cross platform play between PC and PS4.

Fortunately, not only did PlayStation Experience show the announcement trailer, but a full gameplay trailer showing off new and dynamic features of the game as well. Though these new elements have not been explained, you can see clearly see new elements and ideas placed into Capcom's newest fighting game.

Yeah, I'm gonna get the PC version. All the fighters are coming out for PC, no point in console exclusives. The only console I'll get is a Wii U.

Nothing i particular, I just want it to have more "heart" than SF4. Tbh, SF5 is how I originally imagined SF5 to be like.

Yep, one less reason to buy a console which is just an underpowered and overpriced proprietary PC. I'm tired of buying all of this crap and having to use up all of my space for it and then having to do it again. It's just silly at this point. I'm not sure I'll be touching another console anytime soon.

Tell me about it. They're too busy bickering while PC players sit in the background realizing that the PC is better, faster, and cheaper, all while being more versatile. The more stuff they have these consoles do, the more clear it is.

We had some on here. They were a weird case though. They were Nintendo players growing up (I knew them in real life), I had everything but started getting Playstations. They would always criticize it, but when the price went down they bought one. It's funny this time because they were all over the PS3 and saying it was awful, but then they went and bought one while wishing the new stuff was backwards compatible.


It's all silly. People are being fanboys. I want to get what's best and like I told my friend I'm tired of buying all of these consoles and crap to play a few different games. I want it on one machine. Thank the lord all of the fighters are starting to come on PC as well. Dead or Alive, SF5, etc.

Hopefully the other genres follow suit and we can be done with consoles lol.

The interesting part is the games that are coming to PC are even from developers that originally didn't bother with PC. Shows you that consoles are on their way out. Consoles are outdated, we live in a world where technological convergence is the thing. Consoles can't even make money without adding a bunch of non gaming related features: Internet, DVD player and so forth. Something PC already does. Console fanboys are dumb as always.

It's funny that even a year ago people were saying these games wouldn't work on the PC and that nobody would play fighters on the PC. As I figured everything is coming on the PC. It just baffles me. These consoles are just there to appease fanboys. It's like buying 1 tv that shows certain channels and having to buy 2 more tvs to get all of the channels. I wish everything was really on one system. I'm tired of this fanboyism, but Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo love it. Couldn't they just develop it that way vs wasting money on consoles?

I don't think Nintendo will ever stop making consoles. Sony stated they might go completely digital and X-box I'm not sure. I'll just stick to PC, much cheaper anyway.

I think it's possible that Nitendo could go the way of Sega. They could always release neat peripherals without having to make consoles. Developers tend to lose money on those anyways.

I think it looks good so far to be honest. I try to be open minded. The models look better (people were saying it looks like 4) and Chun Li looks a lot better. It seems to have guard crush. I like the background and how it's interactive as well. I hope the gameplay follows through though.

The models look much better. Chun li looks like 3rd strike version done right. SF4 had some weird models lol. I'm optimistic as well and interested.

Yep. None of the super weird looks in SF4. I hope they keep that goofy stuff to a minimum and cut down on the chicks with man hands and feet. Also give Cammy a butt lol.

I don't know. Capcom seems to be making the game with a darker gritty look, like the modern Evil Ryu. Some of the cartoony characters might be out of place. They'd work well in SF4 though.

People were hoping it would take place after 3s though.
