SFV Falke Update

Falke's Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition maintenance period starts at 11:00 am PDT

Falke is being released as Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition Season 3's third DLC fighter. As with any new character release, there needs to be a maintenance period for the game.

The SFV Server Status Twitter account has already revealed when the servers will be down for maintenance tomorrow. It will begin at 11:00 am PDT and last until 5:00 pm PDT.

For those of us living in the East coast, add three more hours to these times. In other words, the maintenance period will go on from 2:00 pm EDT and run until 8:00 pm EDT.

Once Capcom has finished the maintenance, we can expect Falke to become available to purchase and play. If you don't own the Season 3 pass, then Falke will cost $5.99 USD or 100,000 Fight Money. Two costumes for her will also become available.

While the servers are scheduled to be down for a total of six hours, we've often seen that everything returns to normal before that. This schedule is merely an estimation of time.

M. Bison is reportedly receiving a Ghosts 'n Goblins crossover costume in Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition

Street Fighter 5 has been dropping crossover costumes for its fighters since Arcade Edition dropped in January, and it appears we now know what one of the next ones will be.

With the latest version 3.030 patch dropping today along with Falke, it is being reported around the web that new costume textures are being discovered for M. Bison.

M. Bison appears to take the form of another Capcom villain as the multi-mouthed demon, Astaroth, from the Ghosts 'n Goblins series.

Astaroth is the ruler of the Demon Realm and the final boss Arthur has to defeat in Ghosts 'n Goblins and went on to appear in other games in the series. He can also be seen in the background of the Demon Village stage in Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and as a card in the Heroes and Heralds mode in Ultimate.

The "Nameless Super Soldier" from Forgotten Worlds' Guile costume is the current outfit up for grabs in Arcade Edition with premium Darkstalkers costumes previously released this month.
