Alex and Urien wouldn't be bad by any means. They say that Alex was in TvC so he was recently seen.
What if Ibuki got in and they fanserviced her up? She has like the second largest bust in the game oddly enough. Wouldn't be surprised to see her in the game.

I don't understand why people wanted Alex over R. Mika either... I find that strange. I'll gladly take R. Mika over Alex any day of the week, considering the fighting game activities that my friends and I participated in throughout high school. Because... what happened was that Alex DID recently show up in another Capcom game referred to as Capcom vs Tatsunoko (something along those lines). I heard that this game was very decent, but Marvel vs Capcom 3 came out (which from my perspective was not that good for a large number of reasons and is also part of the reason why have been skeptical of Capcom up until now they started... seemingly making better decisions, based on how SFV is turning out so far obviously). Even though Alex was present in that game... how many people play him...? So, I don't what the big deal is about Alex in particular. All I know is that fans want him in SFV. Which isn't relevant to me sense we clearly got our wish about another (frankly) more likable character making it into the roster of SFV (that is R. Mika).

The big deal is that he was in SF3 and the fanbase for that game is die hard. There are many people who jump the bandwagon who say it's the best fighter ever despite never playing it. These people are very vocal but Capcom seems to be wise about not just listening to the hype and making the mistake that SF3 did with the roster. SF4 had overall awful newcomers outside of Juri and Viper but at least the roster was diverse.
The things I hear are "R. Mika had shitty normals and is low tier in Alpha 3." So what? Cammy and Fei Long were low tier in SF2. This is a new game with a new system and you have online updates. This is a new game. Alex isn't "bad" but R. Mika is more fun visually and playstyle wise than Alex by far.
I don't know what is up with these SF3 guys. All SF games did something neat and original, but these guys are super hardcore for some reason.

I'm a big SF3 fan and naturally Alex is someone I wanted. Not over R.mika, but in general. SF3 is my favorite, but like C said. Every game in the franchise adds something new.

Alex is a cool character who is a homage to Hulk Hogan. Urien, Makoto, Ibuki, and Elena are nice additions. But I'd say it had the worst roster and this hurt the game.
SF1 characters: Ryu Ken Sagat has plot importance but we could do without him right away.
SF2 characters: Chun Cammy Bison Guile ... Could do without Hawk, Zangief, Honda, Dee Jay. Balrog and Vega are solid characters. Fei Long is pretty neat, but Karin is better. Akuma is popular but a clone.
SF3 characters: Alex Urien Ibuki Elena Dudley
They are neat: Dudley and Elena aren't as critical. Ibuki and Makoto are popular, but given how the females look I'd say Ibuki would fit better in this game.
I'd say Alpha had the best roster by far. Ex has some unique characters too.

Yep - case and point. Even if R. Mika was considered bad, I still found her fun to play at the time of Alpha 3. And, it is the exact same case with Birdie. Birdie was not that good in Alpha 3 either... but... look at what we have here. So the guys who are still throwing a fit (for some reason) over R. Mika making it into the roster need to keep stop acting silly. And, as for 3S... I never actually owned the game and I've only went as far as to play it in the arcade so many years ago, before coming to Germany in 5th grade. I don't remember being upset about the characters (I do remember thinking that Ibuki looked cool as hell though when I was a kid but)... For obvious reasons, I relate to the Alpha 2 / Alpha 3 rosters a lot more.

Exactly, design and fun matter the most. You can make an original character powerful. Anybody can tweak a character to top tier in today's environment with online updates. There will be no broken V-ism anyways. It takes a lot more work to make a boring character an interesting character though, especially when they're hated.
People are hating on Mika by saying that many people are "new fans out of the blue". Who cares?

I'm guessing Dhalsim and Juri are gonna be the other 2 returning characters. Not a fan Dhalsim at all.... I have no opinion about Juri since she was never in a decent game yet.
I never understood why people like Alex. Only answer I've gotten was you need to like wrestling... overall don't wanna see him ever again.
Its sad that my character wish list is one character that will never make it.... why am I still excited for this game
Even Asian men like phat behinds. It's a worldwide craze.
I'm reading that her command grab is a 5 frame? I wonder if they're that fast in general or if it's just certain ones. This is what happens when you make moves easy to do. You then have to weaken them. Meh. Could have it where harder motions give better results, but oh well.

They are referring to Rainbow Typhoon definitely. This may inadvertently lead to some issues... because R. Mika might not have throw invincibility (assuming that throws in SFV are 3 frames)...

That would suck. Why even use command grabs if normal throws beat them and they are slow? Doesn't it have low range too?

... They do. The throw range is rather poor in general in this game. One would think that Capcom would fix this issue so that players can put a little more emphasis on command grabs.

That said Mika has good normals and doesn't look weak. I just hope command grabs and projectiles don't end up trash.

Also, C-Master... EX Shooting Peach might actually be a pretty dangerous reversal. It has armored properties and a different animation. R. Mika does two rushing elbows. If these two elbows are blocked, she stops (and she seems to be safe-ish on block). If she successfully hits the opponent, R. Mika goes through with the remaining Shooting Peach butt slam animation.
At some point later, I need to get around to talking about the other characters... (I know about Nash and Cammy but ever since R. Mika showed up, I have not been the same :] ) I will get around to both Nash and Cammy later so that we can retain knowledge and get ready for upcoming competition.

Yea I noticed Ex Butt Blast went through a projectile too.
Thanks for the combos. Also many people think Juri won't be in the initial 16. What are your thoughts?

Some help with Cammy. * Combo 1). j.HP, f+HK, cr.MP, qcf+K (Spiral Arrow) * Combo 2). j.HP, f+HK, b+HP, qcf+K (Spiral Arrow) - Remember that this combo might be space dependent, so be sure to be up close and personal against the opponent. Also, if you have meter, Cammy can cancel her Spiral Arrow and her DP into her CA. * Combo 3). cr. LK, cr.LP, cr.MP, qcf+K (Spiral Arrow) * Combo 4). MP+MK (V-Skill) on hit, cr.MP, qcf+K (Spiral Arrow) * Combo 5). st.MP, cr.MP, qcf+K (Spiral Arrow)
Go-To Anti-Air Normal Moves st.LK b+HP st.HK (preemptive) Catching opponents with DP+K may also be a good idea because it is really active on start up. Just use a bit of discretion because some character may try to change the trajectory of their jumps or they may attempt a safe jump.
Other notes: Don't hesitate to take advantage of cr.HP as he has quite a bit of range and can lead to devastating combos. Also, Cammy's b+HP, HK target combo will cancel into CA. Keep in mind that if you use hcf+P and attempt to perform a dive kick or leave the control stick/pad in neutral as she does a flipping animation to slide on the ground, the move will auto-correct if she passes through the opponent. Also, if you use Cammy's V-Skill, this will also auto-correct because she will pass through the opponent if she is close enough. Another thing that needs to be understood is that Cammy seems to have an easier time comboing out from her LK and MK dive kick moves. I may have missed a few things but this is most of the stuff I got a hold of while playing the Beta and looking at others play Cammy.
Here is some good WSO Build Street Fighter V Cammy for a recap.

Does DP+k still have the SF4 absurd active frames?
"Never satisfied, never full, they eat and destroy with grubby hands until nothing is left but piss, but now the judgement of all humans has begun."
Street Fighter 4's rival battles seemed somewhat out of left field at times, but we're fairly sure we know who Chun-Li will be fighting before the reaching the final boss in the arcade ladder: her plastic surgeon.
When Street Fighter 5 made its E3 debut, fans quickly noticed the following Chun-Li glitch on the character select screen:
Capcom immediately acknowledged this as a bug, it only happens on the player two side, and stated they had plans to fix it. Apparently, Chun-Li's mammary issues don't stop with the character select screen.
While playing the SF5 beta, one gamer found yet another glitch involving Chun's chest region that happens during actual game play. One of her breasts actually seems to deflate, and then pop out moments later. Hit the jump below to see it.

Hm... Wind based... or light purple(ish) flames... not that easy to tell from this perspective. Juri "would" be capable of either of those elements in combat... I could lower my list of new characters who would be announced soon though. It would either be Juri or a brand new character altogether.

Red purse...? See because... it's been QUITE a while ever since Alpha series (chronologically). Karin would have grown strong enough is to generate wind gusts from her hands at the very least based on her fighting style... ... A red purse. And, a gust of wind...

Maybe she's fast like the wind? Juri didn't explicitly have wind powers did she? Could be a new character, but why hint that? None of us will know unless it's a hint about their powers.
