The next step online?
The Capcom Fighters Network (CFN) is a community building tool that will be directly built into the online infrastructure of Street Fighter V. Here is a list of some of the things that you’ll be able to do in-game via CFN: See where battles are happening all over the world on a “heat map” View player profiles and detailed match statistics Designate “rivals” throughout the world and monitor their performance Register friends and follow your favorite players Search and watch replay files Send online battle invitations Check out the latest patch and tournament news And much more! We’ll have more concrete details on all the various CFN features at a later date, but just to whet your appetite, here are some work-in-progress screenshots. The main CFN screen shows the “heat map” and will look something like this:
Each blinking light on the world map represents a pocket of active users that are engaged in online battles. With the heat map, you’ll be able see where all the action is taking place and even be able to drill down to the individual players who are fighting, in order to check out their profile information, past match history, replays, and even send them a fight request. As Street Fighter V will be at the forefront of our eSports activities upon release, we wanted to make sure that players had access to all the statistical data possible to help analyze their weaknesses and improve their game.
The outfit doesn't look bad, thought the leggings didn't have to go all the way up. They definitely gave her legs and ass though, they're keeping the trend going.
Does she only have rekkas in V-Trigger.

Back when Vega first joined the fray, many were concerned that his not requiring charge would make him too strong. Street Fighter 5 Associate Producer, Combofiend, stated that this could quickly change if need be.
Apparently developers haven't felt this has been as much an issue with Vega as with Necalli. The Aztec warrior has had two of his moves' inputs changed to charge motions, as seen in his current moves list: Necalli Charge image #1 Click images for larger versions
Necalli's "The Disc's Guidance" and "Raging Light" now require charge in order to perform. Previously Disc, which is Necalli's forward-moving slash move, was done with a quarter circle motion, and Light, his uppercut, was done with a traditional Shoryuken motion.
Though only a handful of people have been able to control the malicious warrior, this change will certainly come as disappointing news to some, (please tweet DreamKing asking him how he feels about this news with the hashtag "brokendreams.")
Is this going to deter you from playing Necalli? Let us know how you feel in the comments below.

I figured they would have to add charge moves back in the game. I think vega might return to being a charge char also. I dont know why people have so much animosity for charge moves, 360 moves/chars.

People want things fast and accessible since it's the new generation. I don't use charges too often, although 360's seem kind of convoluted but classic at this point.
That said you only have to hit the cardinal directions so it's hcf or hcb+ up. Kof and GG have the hcb + forward.
So it's not too bad.

At long last, one of the most anticipated characters has arrived onto the Street Fighter 5 roster.
Karin Kanzuki brings with her an incredibly offensive move set, filled to the brim with rush down potential. Supplemented with very fast movement options, Karin's ability to quickly attack high, low or grab her opponent make for a lot of mix up capability.
In this breakdown, we'll be isolating some of Karin's key moves, and speculating as to their strengths and applications. We begin by showing her Critical Art, in which Karin lunges forward with a fairly quick attack, then propels her opponent across the stage with a devastating combo.
Dash
You can have great offense, but it doesn't mean much if you don't have a means of getting close to your foe. Karin boasts both, as her speedy dash allows her to cross a lot of ground very quickly. Once near, Karin can choose to start her offense with a high attack, go low with light kicks or grab.
As strong as this mix up is, it only echoes what she's capable of later in the round.
Senha
This attack sees Karin fly across the stage as she swings her arms in a pinwheel motion. If it's anything like her Alpha 3 version, Senha is an overhead attack that threatens from almost any distance on the screen.
This move seems to echo Fei-Long's Chicken Wing attack, and could be used to close distance. The relatively slow start up means this move probably won't be too useful as a means of getting in in high level play.
If the EX version is quicker, and has invincibility, we could see it as a more practical special attack.
V-Skill
With her V-Skill, Karin lunges forward with a palm strike. This can be used from far away to negate fireballs, or up close to knock her opponent down. It's possible to briefly charge this move, giving it better hit and block properties.
This V-Skill is probably most useful in dealing with fireballs. Characters are going to want to keep Karin at bay, so discouraging fireball play looks to be fairly important. Giving Karin a faster means to her V-Trigger is advised against at almost all costs.
V-Trigger
Karin's V-Trigger is where her true potential is unlocked. If her mix ups were threatening before, they're downright deadly now. Karin gains her Guren Ken, a Rekka-like move with a myriad of follow up options.
After the initial strike of the Guren Ken, Karin can continue very suddenly with more strikes, a sweep, an overhead, a throw or a simple retreat. What's more, Karin has a relatively small two-bar V-Guage, meaning it doesn't take long for her to access this.
It's incredibly early, and there's tons more research to be done once the game actually drops, but we'll go as far as to say we wouldn't be surprised if Karin is amongst the strongest characters in Street Fighter 5.
Our guess is that her individual attacks won't do quite as much damage as other characters', meaning she'd have to open you up a few times to get the win. Still, she'll likely echo the dominant, offensive presence that Yun has in Street Fighter 4.
How do you feel about her thus far? Are you more excited to play as her, or scared to play against her at this point? Let us know in the comments.

... Feeling quite nostalgic right now. Now this roster has been successfully spiced up! Just think, several years ago, we did not see this happening. I was already happy with R. Mika but now we can have our cake and eat it too (Cake is made to be eaten)... I was hoping for something a tad more... sensual. But, I am perfectly fine with this! Oh Karin... it's been SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO many years sense you've been in a legitimate fighting game alongside R. Mika (No, I don't give a damn about Capcom Fighting Jam).

If Juri made it in that would rule for a new roster.
These two are definitely the best though.

R. Mika for the main. Subbing Cammy, Rashid, Karin and Nash (and more than likely Chun Li if I can figure out her game play for myself). Next character is probably a new character altogether, whom will hopefully turn out exciting. After all of the characters are successfully showcased, the guys at Capcom are going to fine-tune the game so that it will be good and ready for release in March. SFV is becoming quite progressive.

They are saying Lauren is the female. That should be neat.
You are using a lot of characters as well. Rashid appeals to you?

Yes and no. Yes because of his relatively unique approach in his game play, along with having a seemingly well-meaning attitude (as some of his win-quotes suggest). The "no" because I am still not that fond of excessively goofy characters, unless they turn out to be particularly hot females (Yes, I said it).

You'll take anything as a hot woman lol.
His moves look cool though.
It depends on how it's done. I don't like purposefully weak joke characters. Just a waste of a slot.

You and I really do have a lot in common when it comes to approaching SFV (or fighting games in general).

KOFXIII = 8/10 (I'll elaborate later... I don't really like typing longer messages on the phone. But, I will go as far as to say that XIII was solid but there were about four glaring flaws that I hightlighted overtime.

Yes, whenever you get a chance put it in the Kof thread I made. I feel about the same way.
