They have a final beta coming out soon and I'm going to play that first. I didn't expect them to do much changing after a certain point though.

As long as ono is helming Street Fighter we will get this kind of garbage consistently. They're not even trying at this point and I know the rest of the DLC will be returning characters.

The character is new and weird looking and not up to my taste, but I don't think that makes them inherently bad. The movestyle looks interesting at least.


I wouldn't blame Ono for all of it, I don't think all of the changes are 100% behind him, but I don't like a lot of the changes.

At least they learned not to hype F.A.N.G like they did Decapre. I think the DLC reveal was done because of the dataming, which is good since we got a season pass.

With that said the rooster is pretty solid with a healthy group of sf2 and 3s characters. Just need some more new characters and good ones too. This game has a good decade to shape up. The only thing I know won't be fixed is the music, it's crap and has been crap since 4.

Starting rosters are always small though, I'd rather have variety than just a ton of clones. That said Kof's roster is looking sweet.

Modern music in many games sucks. It feels overly produced nowadays.

That's retarded, I could understand if it was a secret character that was unannounced. Then unlocking makes sense, but modern gaming dangles these characters in your face as DLC. Why would I need to unlock them?

The japanese trailer is 60 fps and looks better. So, is the voice but the character still feels awful.

As if I hadn't heard enough idiocy, apparently gaming 3000 hours in before all of the characters are out to unlock them is "normal" and "not grinding".

Anybody who spends the equivalent of 4.5 months gaming in real time and they consider that normal and not grinding has serious issues.

Capcom has been trying to westernize for a good while. Their games are definitely trying to expand outside of the Japanese market. Thus the marketing is different, they are the only ones too but they are at the spear tip.
