See the mods can achieve anything, especially fixing the camera angles.

See the mods can achieve anything, especially fixing the camera angles. Oh I have no doubt. I'm big on PC modding. Been doing it for years. There was a question if they might encrypt it, but that doesn't seem to be the case as they are supporting it via workshop.

They havent made any announcement on how the steam workshop is intergrated into the game. For all we know they could be going down the same path of paid mods that bethesda tried with Skyrim and someway encrypt some files that would prevent free mods from working in game or some other drm method. Im not a programmer so i dont know how much they could do if they wanted to stop free mods atleast online so Im just speculating.

Capcom has been cool with mods in SFxT and SF4 and people are modding away. If they tried to make modding impossible that would definitely hurt their own cause. I have seen console players whining about PC mods like they whine about everything else. Many do like it though. Some speculate they could have votes on fan made mods and sell them. I have seen unofficial mods for Skyrim though. I thought it was a popular game mode wise actually. Even seen some nude mods on there.

Here is a TV commercial from Eventhubs:
The new Street Fighter 5 TV commercial features not only the game, but the community as well
There's a brand new Street Fighter 5 commercial now circulating on public television, and it doesn't just show footage of the game.
In a very smart move, the creators of "Tap Into It" have aimed to capture the very essence and soul of Street Fighter: the community.
Interlaced with shots from major events like EVO and Final Round, the TV spot is inspiration-themed with a build up that very much mirrors the FGC's increasing anticipation of SF5's release.
It's exciting to see our community, in its element, being broadcast out to the public like this.

Yeah this was coming from what we've previous talked about when Steam Workshop, so just a little comment that mods have the possibility to reinclude what got changed. I would appreciate this mod over what someone at Capcom that remove risqué camera shots just to keep their Teen rating or don't want to offend anyone (which honestly kinda funny people are now offended by Laura's DLC costume lol). Just bit curious, what do you mean by encrypt it?

Encryption basically means you "lock" or "protect" the files so they can't be accessed or tampered with basically. It technically means to transfer to code, but in layman terms you're protecting the files.

It seems Capcom has censored Zangief's SPD. They changed the muscle buster R. Mika did, so why not? Notice his hands have been changed so the legs aren't showing as much, like it used to be in SF4. Why is this a problem when the game has upskirt shots of Chun Li and Karin's dress is constantly above her waist? The other stuff has been fixed so hopefully this can be too. I already brought it to the modder's attention. I'll double check this if we get another mod, just to be sure.

I guess Ryu is facing his dark side, Charlie is finding out about his past, Cammy is I'm not sure what she's doing. Finding about her past I suppose. It is a teaser after all lol. Looks like it isn't complete. Which isn't surprising seeing how the game is coming out so soon.

The game is coming in a few weeks and they can't even put a teaser trailer out that makes sense of anything? Also, it's apparently coming out in june lol Capcom. So, glad I don't care for Street Fighters story. But, I applaud the effort.

So, glad I don't care for Street Fighters story. But, I applaud the effort. They're trying to follow in the vein of other games with a story focus to draw in a larger crowd. The "hardcore" players will just say "Fighting games aren't for story scrub." so I'm sure they'll make it. The cinematic part comes out in June, the first part won't have cinematics from what they're saying.

So, the story is not even coming out in February? But, in june? What's going on in Capcom? They said this story was going to be epic for a while now and they didn't even put it in the launch game. This is Decapre all over again, remember how long they took to make her?

This is Decapre all over again, remember how long they took to make her? No the story will be out. They are just going to do a cinematic add on. Remember the game needs to be ready for competition this year, so they focused on that more than the story. Make sense? Decapre was hidden away when it would have been better to be honest about it. Her playstyle isn't that bad actually, she's just a Cammy clone who was overhyped.

Well, we'll see. That trailer didn't give any information. So, I have no idea what the story is. It's the difference between whether I'll skip the cut-scenes or not.

First character comes out in March: www.eventhubs.com/news/2016/jan/25/street-fighter-5s-first-dlc-character-be-released-march-capcom-explains-game-currency/Capcom has already spilled the beans on Street Fighter 5's story mode and cinematic expansion, but the new information doesn't stop there.
In a phone interview with IGN, Capcom briefly discussed the game's DLC characters and in-game currency.
According to the interview, Street Fighter 5's first DLC character will actually see release in March of this year. As previously stated, these post-launch fighters will all be available for purchase via Fight Money -- Street Fighter 5's in-game currency.
Capcom explains that playing through most of Street Fighter 5's offline modes with different fighters, such as arcade mode, survival, and also ranking up each character, will net you enough Fight Money to purchase the first DLC warrior.
Once the first DLC character is released, daily challenges will be introduced making it easier for players to generate in-game currency. As of right now, we are unsure which of the six DLC fighters will be the first to hit the Street Fighter 5 stage. At a WSO session earlier this month, Capcom UK's community manager, Matt Edwards, mentioned on stream that he got hands-on time with a playable version of Balrog whilst visiting the US for Capcom Cup back in December.
Though this doesn't confirm Balrog's release in March, it is certainly interesting to know that a playable version of him already exists.
Looks like it could be Balrog.

I still think Necalli is the boss. Some say that it might be Alpha style with multiple bosses depending on the character. Does Necalli have enough going to drive the entire plot?

SF5 won't receive SF3 style reboot. Might be no Blanka. www.eventhubs.com/news/2016/jan/25/street-fighter-will-not-receive-sf3-style-reboot-long-ono-involved-says-there-might-not-be-room-blanka-street-fighter-5/Today is a great day for Street Fighter 5 fans, as there seems to be no shortage of news this morning.
In a new interview, Destructoid caught up with Street Fighter producer Yoshinori Ono to discuss the newly unveiled story mode details, the future of Street Fighter, and much more.
Talking about the Street Fighter 5 roster, Destructoid mentioned the Street Fighter 3 series and how the first game had a roster filled with mostly new fighters and few returning characters. Since then, Capcom has switched the ratio between brand new and returning to favor the latter.
Street Fighter 5 has introduced four brand new characters to fans, and according to Ono, we won't be seeing another SF3-style reboot with mostly newcomers for future titles any time soon. At least, not while Ono is working on the project.
"What we actually learned from Street Fighter III and putting in all those new characters, we found out that the really hardcore people really enjoy it," Ono said. "They really enjoyed playing all the new characters and figuring out how to use them, but it was very difficult to bring back the old generation of players who played Street Fighter II because they weren't sure, 'Who is this character? Why should I care about them? Why should I play this game?'
"Now I've reached this super high point in the Street Fighter series... I can very safely say that as long as I'm involved in the game we won't be taking that approach, of a lot of brand new characters." Though Street Fighter 5's roster consists mainly of classic characters fans are familiar with, Capcom is going to great lengths to make sure their personalities and stories are better developed than ever before.
As we know, Street Fighter 5's story mode will be seeing an expansion in June that will focus on telling the tale of what took place between Street Fighter 4 and Street Fighter 3. Today's trailer gave us a glimpse at what we can expect from this free DLC, and according to Destructoid's interview, fans can look forward to over an hour of beautiful in-game cut-scenes.
"We're finally going to be encapsulating the entire Street Fighter universe," Ono explains.
But where in this massive universe is Blanka? And will he be making his way into Street Fighter 5?
"[I'm] quite uncertain because Laura herself has electric-based attacks, so it maybe doesn't leave a whole lot of room [for Blanka]," Ono said.
We'll just have to wait and see what lies in store for the most electrifying man in Street Fighter entertainment.

Does Necalli have enough going to drive the entire plot? He seems to have some interesting win quotes with the cast plus he's implied to be very strong.
