Heres more details from shoryuken & eventhubs:
This video offers a look at an interesting mechanic that F.A.N.G players may have run into in their first day of play. Under the correct circumstances, the newcomer’s Critical Art allows opponents to fall out before completion, giving him the opportunity to combo afterwards.
It just wouldn’t be day one without some love for series mainstay Ryu, and Desk has definitely given him that. The combos below milk all of the juggle potential out of the wandering warrior’s kit while also providing a look at some combo-video-only options involving full-screen fireballs followed by plenty of dashing.
This video also provides a look at potential combos to come. You’ll notice one of these strings sees Ryu walking for an incredibly brief 3 frame period mid-combo to allow for the rest of the hits to connect. Seeing this from Desk in conjunction with Tom Piddock’s early discoveries with Necalli, some of which also involve a bit of walking, hints that advanced combos in Street Fighter V may involve some truly fancy footwork.
And finally, Desk has created some silly combos involving what he’s calling Ryu’s focus attack dash cancel. Obviously, he’s not actually FADCing in Street Fighter V, but is instead using Dhalsim to interrupt Ryu’s attacks and allow for some entertaining, albeit completely impractical, options.

Street Fighter 5 challenges discovered... and it looks like there are nearly 7,000
Though Street Fighter 5's Challenge Mode will not be available until next month, we've stumbled upon a list of challenges in the game's menus.
Though we cannot begin progress on them yet, if you enter your Fighter Profile, navigate right to the "Power" section, navigate down to "Technique Data" option and select it you'll see the full list of 27 challenges.
These look to be universal to all characters, and it appears you'll have to perform each challenge in each and every match up to get full credit. This means you have to do each challenge (27) with each character (16) against each character (16) for a grand total of 6,912.

Frame data for Street Fighter 5
The FGC's favorite modder, Dantarion, has mined the frame data for the final version of Street Fighter 5.
Not only will this index page give you access to the final release frame data, but also the betas so that you can see any changes right down to the frame.
Knowing a character's frame data is invaluable as it allows you create set ups, know exactly how safe moves are and give you an overall understanding of said character that's rooted in inarguable realm of math.

Street Fighter 5's online experience shaping up; Capcom addresses remaining launch issues
After a somewhat rocky launch, Street Fighter 5 looks to be shaping into the game it was meant to be.
We can only imagine the scramble at Capcom HQ over the past 40 hours or so as employees rushed to fix the collection of issues regarding online play.
From our own experiences earlier today, we've seen much improvement as wait times to find matches have been greatly reduced, the Battle Lounge seems fully functional and server shut downs seem to be all but gone.
Capcom has notified the public via their SF5 Server Twitter account that "Disconnect issues should be resolved now. Please let us know if you are still having issues logging in and/or staying connected."
twitter.com/SFVServer
In a Capcom Unity post from earlier today they addressed a few remaining issues, especially for PC users, which you'll find below.
Network/Server-side Issues (PC & PS4)
• Online connectivity - login and intermittent connectivity issues should be less frequent as the service stabilizes now that all platforms and regions have launched.
• Matchmaking issues – the issue should be fixed now as the team identified the root cause and have implemented a server side fix few moments ago. Please check the SF5 Server Twitter for the latest updates and server status.
• Fighter ID corruption - a small number of PC users have reported their Fighter ID getting corrupt after account registration. We’re aware of this issue and will have a fix in place shortly to prevent this from happening further.
PC-Specific Issues
• Game boot-up/crashing issues - some of these issues may be attributed to certain Anti-Virus software preventing the game executable from launching due to a false-positive error. We recommend users add StreetFighterV.exe and/or the game installation directory to the exclusion list to prevent this issue.
• There are other non-reproducible crashes or stability issues that we’ll be looking into. We appreciate if you can continue sending feedback through the official Steam Bug Reporting thread with as much details as possible so that we can attempt to reproduce and fix the issue.
Feature asks (PC)
• Native DirectInput support - this was one of the more consistent requests we’ve received from the PC community. We realize many fans prefer to use their existing PS3/PS4 compatible Arcade Sticks on PC which are DirectInput-based, so we are actively looking into adding this feature in an upcoming patch. In the meantime, players can use popular XInput remapping tools such as the X360CE [www.x360ce.com].
• Expanded key re-binding functionality - we are also looking into expanding key binding option to allow customers to freely map keys beyond the default B/N/M/,/H/J/K/L keys. In-game language options - the currently set language is based on the Operating System’s UI language. We are looking into adding language options via the Steam client launcher in an upcoming patch.
• Resolution Switching – current design requires users to cycle through each in-between resolution setting in order to arrive at a resolution of their choice. We’ll look into making this process much simpler and less time consuming in the future.
• Lastly, we’ll provide another round of updates shortly, as soon as we have a solid timeline for when these feature additions will be ready. Please stay tuned!

Street Fighter V Roundup – Zangief Strategies, Rashid V-Trigger Enhancements, and More
We’re now well into our second official day with Street Fighter V, and the videos are rolling in! We’ve got strategy videos, guides, and, of course, plenty of combos to share today, so let’s get going.
To get us started, David “UltraDavid” Graham of UltraChen TV offers up a quick guide for the Red Cyclone. If you’re looking to give Zangief a whirl, this video will get you started down the right path with information on walk speed, dashes, normals, V-Skill, and V-Trigger application, and much more.
If you’ve spent time fighting against Rashid, you’ve certainly found yourself knocked down with a tornado on top of you at least once. And, let’s face it, there aren’t a lot of things worse than waking up inside a tornado. What those on the receiving end of his wind storm, as well as those slinging the funnel clouds, may not yet know is that the wind actually enhances nearly everything the fighter has. This includes adding extra hits to Spinning Mixer, making his standing roundhouse hop multiple character lengths, giving his overhead incredible range, and much more. The video below, from Jonathan Iheonu, explains it all.
When R. Mika lands a crush counter with her charged roundhouse, there’s plenty of room for her to get in and do massive damage. This next video, from DridriKon explores some of the more damaging options the wrestler receives when scoring such a hit.
AquaTeamV3 took the time to break down Karin’s crouching fierce Crush Counter. Since this button results in a launch, Karin players can expect to net massive damage, and even a handful of tricky reset options off the hit.
Hurtbox TV has been busy putting together some combo videos in the same style we’ve come to know them for. These two offerings, one each for F.A.N.G. and Vega, include various options for plenty of situations and meter costs.
Maybe you’re in it to get quick, clean, reliable damage. If that’s the case, this small collection of no-frills combos from rooflemonger are just what you’re looking for. With a video dedicated to Chun-Li, one to Birdie, and a third to R. Mika, there’s plenty of love to go around.
In a similar fashion, evilneeko shares up some combo potential for both Nash and Ryu.
When he’s not rocketing rap superstars to the top of the Street Fighter V rankings, legendary* fight promoter Honzo Gonzo spends his time crafting in-depth combo guides for those of us who’ve yet to land a record deal. He hasn’t yet gotten to the entire cast, but we’ve included his current releases for Birdie, Ken, F.A.N.G, and Necalli.
On top of extensive in-game footage, these guides come with complete notation transcripts so you won’t miss a hit. Who knows, if you follow these guides you too could some day topple a fighting game legend.
