Here is a Guinness World Record from Eventhubs:
Ryan Hart sets a fourth Guinness World Record with 260 consecutive victories in Street Fighter 5
We've been informed that parts of this story were erroneous - This was actually FA|Ryan Hart's fourth Guiness World Record, and he's been competing since 1994.
FA|Ryan Hart, one of the most celebrated fighting game players in the genre's history, has been active competitively since 1994.
In this time, he's been granted the honor of receiving a Guinness World Record not only once, not twice, but thrice. The first time was for "Longest Winning Streak in Street Fighter 4", acquired in 2010 with 169 match wins in a row, while the second time was "Most international fighting videogame championship wins", acquired due to his 450 victories in 20 different countries from 1994 to 2015. The sourced story does not specify what the third record was.
Now, a fourth record has been assigned to him, namely the record for "Most consecutive opponents beaten in Street Fighter 5", with a whopping 260 match wins, which took 11 hours to complete with Guinness World Records adjucator Pravin Patel present to ensure the record was attained legitimately.
Not only that, but his first opponent was actually quite the familiar face to Street Fighter fans...

Here some info on difference between SFIV & SFV from shoryuken:
Learn the Differences Between Street Fighter IV and Street Fighter V
With Street Fighter V now fresh in the hands of series veterans and new players alike, some adopters of the game may find themselves with a handful of questions regarding how this newest addition to the franchise differs from its predecessor, or what about the title makes it unique.
In a new video, lordofultima handles this topic by offering insights into the new systems in place this time around as well as noting those that didn’t make a return from the previous game. They cover meter types, chip damage, V-Systems, and everything in-between. If you’re looking to get started in Street Fighter V, this is a great place to get the basics.

Heres info for a possible Arcade Mode from Eventhubs:
Capcom may add arcade mode to Street Fighter 5, difficulty settings for story mode reportedly in the works
The much anticipated Street Fighter 5 saw its official release this past Tuesday, but eager fans were quick to discover that the game felt light on single-player content.
With story and survival being the game's only real selections in that department at this time, players were left wondering about the absence of a traditional arcade mode. Capcom has been listening to the public's feedback, and it seems that they may actually implement the much sought after arcade option.
A Capcom representative informed Forbes that the company is currently looking into adding an arcade mode to Street Fighter 5.
Capcom states that more details on this front will be provided soon.
As we noted in our Street Fighter 5 review, the game's story mode features single-round matches that are incredibly easy to win.
Eventhubs SFV Review: www.eventhubs.com/news/2016/feb/15/street-fighter-5-review/ We weren't the only ones who felt this way, and according to the aforementioned representative, Capcom has plans to add difficulty sliders to the current story mode.
Doing so will certainly add some much needed challenge to this particular facet.

Heres an update from Eventhubs:
Updated: Street Fighter 5's online experience shaping up; Capcom makes more improvements
Capcom has made further improvements to Street Fighter 5's online experience. You can find the latest changes after the jump.
Status update - February 18th, 2016
Matchmaking
• Matchmaking is now working as intended and users should be able to find online matches without much of a wait in both Ranked and Casual mode.
Battle Lounge
• Playing in the same Battle Lounge for a set period of time renders players unable to participate in the lounge or matches. Many of the other issues with Battle Lounge have been resolved and users should be able to invite other players to their lounge. The team is still looking at this mode very closely and will continue to make improvements as we move into the weekend time frame.
Match Results
• Some users have reported that their match results are not being sent to the server. In most cases, this is more or less a UI bug and your results along with your rewards will still be credited to your account.
If you are unsure if your match was recorded, check your battle log and if the match appears there, it will also be recorded on the server.
Replay Search
• Some of the more recent replay data won’t be available immediately when searching the replay database but the team is working on making those replays available as soon as possible.
All of your personal replays are immediately available by going through your fighter profile.
Other issues being addressed:
- Some user names don’t show up in Rival Search. - Some user names don’t display properly on battle results screen. - Ranking functionality isn’t working properly on the CFN.

Heres more breakdown stuff from shoryuken:
Sajam has provided a handful of Street Fighter V characters his special brand of tutorial treatment. You may, perhaps, recognize his work with the for the Killer Instinct World Cup, and while these Street Fighter V tutorials are quite a bit longer, you’re not going to run into any filler.

thacmaster.proboards.com/thread/2115/killer-instinct-on-pc?page=2
And hey, what about all of those punishable moves you’re not punishing? Scrub John sent us a guide from NeoGAF’s forums focused on making sure people pay for their unsafe attacks. While this is far from an exhaustive punish guide–featuring only a handful of moves to punish, and only showing actual punishes with Karin–video creator Team Biiruken offer a good idea of where to get started with regard to the sorts of punishes one can expect to use.
While not likely to happen in a match, this Laura combo from Snoooootch doles out incredible damage while making use of every bit of the Brazilian fighter’s resources. Be sure to keep it in mind in the event the stars align and you can perhaps pull this off in a proper match.
And we close out today with a pair of Nash combo videos, one from PerfectHiT and the second from roundup veteran Sebastian Rikk. If you’ve found yourself fond of the Frankensteined combatant, you’re sure to learn a thing or two in these reels.

No I'm not on gold yet. I just started yesterday with some other stuff going on. I get my momentum going and lose it occasionally. It's the worse when it's a "newbie" who is much better than their points lead you to think and they win before you adjust. You lose so many points like that. I gotta hit a streak again just to get back on even terms.

I lost my title before when my controller messed up and I got a perfect. Got me so mad lol.
I'm sloppy but I'm getting better. My confirms were on point, but this morning I did bad because I tried to play a few matches when I was about to head out. Plus it was cold and I dropped everything. Never making that mistake again.

Sometimes you have to know when to take a break. You'll get it back though.
Also do you use twitter? I wanted someone to ask Ono on his twitter why video capture software like Bandicam will not work on Street Fighter 5 when it worked on the Beta version.

Heres more Redbull info from shoryuken:
Daigo Umehara, Luffy Close Out Red Bull Kumite 2016 Invitations
Earlier this morning, Red Bull finalized their list of invitations for this year’s Kumite event with a pair of Evo champions: Mad Catz’ Daigo Umehara and Olivier “Luffy” Hay.
Daigo obviously needs no introduction, with championships spanning decades at this point. In recent years, the Japanese legend opened Street Fighter IV’s tenure at the Evolution Championship Series with back-to-back victories in 2009 and 2010, and would go on to have success in each successive iteration.
Luffy, on the other hand, is a relative newcomer. He first gained notice at World Game Cup 2010, where he sent Daigo to the losers bracket, and his notoriety would grow steadily until he secured a first-place finish at Evo 2014. Since then, he has parted ways with longtime sponsor MeltDown to pursue a career with Red Bull.
This pair will join Twitch’s Bruce “GamerBee” Hsiang, Evil Geniuses’ Justin Wong and Yusuke Momochi, r/Kappa’s Lee “Poongko” Chung-gon, Razer’s Kun Xian Ho and Lee “Infiltration” Seon-woo, Alioune Camara, Ryota “Kazunoko” Inoue, Keoma Moutsatsos Pacheco, and Red Bull’s Darryl “Snake Eyez” Lewis and Masato “Bonchan” Takahashi, and Mad Catz’ Hajime “Tokido” Taniguchi as they compete in Street Fighter V just a few months out from its official launch.
Two more competitors will be decided by last-chance qualifiers held the day of the event, registration for which opens on February 20.

The latest combo video from Desk focuses on everyone's favorite Russian power wrestler, Zangief.
In this video, Desk puts Zangief's V-Skill armor to particularly good use, for example when guarding against 3 separate EX Lightning Legs from Chun-Li and following up with some serious damage.

Here some round ups from shoryuken:
Four days out after Street Fighter V’s official launch and people are still busy looking for all the information they can get. In today’s roundup, we’ve got big damage, setups, strategies, and tutorials, so let’s get started.
First up, we start with the basics. Air and Behrudy have shared the first two videos of the Street Fighter V edition of AirBehr Dojo, covering both the game’s interface and basic movement options.
For those who prefer landing Zangief’s Critical Art in a more traditional way, Bafael has shared a proof of concept video showing how to perform a standing 720. This is done by taking advantage of the fact that Zangief has more pre-jump animation frames when compared to most of the cast. Start churning!
Next, we move on to some real Russian damage, as demonstrated by TGL GiefKid. This 799 damage combo isn’t all that hard to pull off, meaning that anytime Zangief has both meters full, opponents near stun should play super carefully lest they say “dasvidaniya” to their lifebar.
We continue on with more wrestling. MarLonLonMilk is back with another video exploring R. Mika’s basic and advanced combos. He also showcases resets that allow her to set up a command throw afterwards.
Next up, we have a couple of combo videos from Hurtbox TV. Like their previous Ken video, these offerings for Ryu and Cammy cover all bases, including more than a few combos that take advantage of their respective V-Triggers to tack on more damage.
The infamous Dandy J created a guide for Laura, showing how players can get started with her mixup game. The basic thing that Dandy points out is how unsafe her typical mixup into command grab is. Instead, he demonstrates how Laura should instead base her mixups on normal gras instead.
Continuing into more character-specific tech, our next video focuses on Rashid’s match up against Birdie. Specifically, Sean2dgod demonstrates ways in which Rashid can punish Birdie’s EX Bullhead using his V-Reversal and super meter.
Speaking of Rashid, Apolo Volturi recently put together a video showing how the master of the turbulent wind can extend combos with juggles.
In the next video, Benji Topaz demonstrates how ancient warrior Necalli can apply pressure off a Crush Counter sweep by using an assortment of safe jumps and meaty attacks.

Here are tips that tutorials doesn't teach from Eventhubs:
Learn your ranges, use every tool, find your go-to buttons and more - 9 tips from GameSpot that Street Fighter 5's tutorial won't teach you
If you're struggling with finding your groove in Street Fighter 5 (or actually even if you aren't), then fear no more - GameSpot has released a video with 9 simple, yet helpful, tips that the tutorial won't teach you on how to improve as a player.
A lot of this stuff might seem obvious, but it's still important to take it all to heart, and really listen to the messages being conveyed.
Below, you'll find a gif from the section in the video (which is narrated via audio) where they explain that you need to adjust your distances, suggesting you don't always revolve around your buttons necessarily hitting your opponent, but what ranges you should use what buttons, and for what pruposes. Hitting your opponent with them isn't always the goal.

Here are Doopliss Combo info from Eventhubs:
Ryu has a combo that works even when you block it... check out Doopliss' style combo video for the entire cast of Street Fighter 5
YouTuber Doopliss has just put together a video showcasing some of the strongest combos and resets we've seen for the entire cast of Street Fighter 5.
One sequence caught our attention right off the bat, as we see a Ryu set up that actually negates blocking. Ryu requires full V-Trigger and Critical Meter, and it looks like it's best the opponent is in the corner for this.
He can actually perform a block string into Critical Art, which guard breaks when Ryu has V-Trigger activated, so he can actually rack up a good portion of chip damage, break his foe's guard and then follow up with a free combo.
www.eventhubs.com/images/2016/feb/19/blocking-lol/
The video features combos for each and every initial roster character, shown in the order they were announced.

Here are details from shoryuken:
Capcom to Implement Street Fighter V Battle Lounge Fixes Over the Weekend
Keeping with their promise to provide regular updates on fixed, Neidel “Haunts” Crisan recently dropped another Street Fighter V status report.
While much of it is the same as last time, it would appear the developers have corrected an issue that was keeping newer Fighter IDs from being found through searching. Now, it will take just 30 minutes for them to show up in the database.
Additionally, we now have a time table for when battle lounges will stabilize. Capcom plans to start rolling out fixes for online lobbies over this coming weekend, so stay tuned for more details.
If you continue to run into issues, be sure to drop a line to @sfvserver on Twitter to make sure they’re aware.

Eventhubs likes to use anti-PC bait. Keep in mind that this isn't confirmed. www.eventhubs.com/news/2016/feb/19/does-lag-issue-plagued-street-fighter-x-tekken-pc-still-exist-street-fighter-5/A(nother) big issue may be threatening Street Fighter 5's online play. Given the versatile nature of PC's, there are a lot of potential problems that come with the territory of supporting a multiplayer game.
Now that we're up and running with SF5 online, PC users may be able to manipulate laggy matches in their favor essentially by alt+tabbing out and back into a match. This appears to redistribute all latency to the opposing user.
A programmer and game developer by the name of Mauve has offered a series of tweets more intricately explaining the process.
We also have a video from MysT91 below that shows the process in action. We haven't seen it from both sides of a match yet, so we can't technically confirm it's true, though the info provided obviously has our attention. MysT91 informed us that this was an issue for the PC version of Street Fighter X Tekken as well, but wasn't really acknowledged. Perhaps this was because the title was doing poorly at the time.

Not sure if that's confirmed but if it is it would be rare. Far more common to play laggy console players who rage quit.
Also I know you could alt tab or drag windowed mode in some games. Not sure why someone would do it. That said all of these issues are fixed.
