Yoga has begun a brand new series titled "SF5 Top 5 KOs" wherein he features the best rounds from a particular batch of uploads.
The very first episode is out, and it features the likes of PG|Filipino Champ, DL|FourWude, Gachikun and more. PIE|Smug actually made his way in to the video, though he's on the receiving end of corner rush down this time:

Heres an episode of Excellent Adventures from eventhubs:
Gootecks, Mike and Combofiend explore Street Fighter 5's Vega and Nash in the latest episode of Excellent Adventures: Addicted to Winning
Combofiend continues teaching Mike Ross and Gootecks the ropes of Street Fighter 5, though Mike would probably argue that he's already better than the developer, and this week the trio take their Vegas and Nashes online.
While we get the excitement of seeing how our adventurers fair online, we get the added bonus of Combofiend giving advice on how to play each character between matches.
If you're looking into playing Vega or Nash, you won't want to miss this episode of EA. Who better than one of the game's creators to learn how to play from?

Here some lessons from shoryuken:
Learn How to Make Sense of Street Fighter V’s Frame Data
Frame data isn’t all that complicated, but that doesn’t make pulling back the curtain on the numbers that make our favorite fighting games tick any less intimidating. Though it can be rough getting into the intricacies of frame data, the importance of arming yourself with such knowledge cannot be stressed enough. The most informed fighter may not be guaranteed a win, but the better one’s understanding of the game, the higher their chances of success.
To help ease new players into frame data, lordofultima and jmcrofts have each created videos–appropriately within 24 hours of each other–to get things rolling. Through these videos, you’ll learn what frame data is, how it applies to matches on a play-by-play basis, how to create frame traps, and much more.
Though the footage from these videos features gameplay from Street Fighter V, do note that the information presented applies to any fighting game you happen to pop into your console.

Heres tournament info from shoryuken: Team Spooky Contributes Over $1,000 to Street Fighter V Prize Pool at Upcoming Next Level Battle Circuit At the beginning of last night’s Next Level Battle Circuit, official broadcaster Victor “Spooky” Fontanez had a special announcement concerning an upcoming installment of the weekly tournament series. Due to the increase in viewership after Street Fighter V’s release, Spooky announced that he will be contributing all of the revenue he earned on Wednesday night, whether it was from advertisements, subscriptions, or outright donations, to the game’s pot on March 16. According to Next Level Arcade owner Henry Cen, this resulted in an increase of over $1,000, which should give players a bit more impetus to attend apart from getting some extra practice in before Final Round 19. Next Level Battle Circuit is hosted in Brooklyn, New York every Wednesday night. If you want to check it out in person, be sure to head on over to Next Level Arcade’s official website for more details. www.nycnextlevel.com/

Frame Trapped, the developers behind a number of useful Street Fighter IV modifications, are set to bring their talents to Street Fighter V. Their first efforts have focused on a real-time hitbox viewer, and an alpha version of their tool is currently available to the public.
To try it out for yourself, all you have to do is visit their official website, grab the installer, and enjoy. Please note that you will have to launch Steam as an Administrator for added privileges and have a PC capable of running both Street Fighter V and the hitbox program at the same time in order to take full advantage of its benefits.

In addition to their hitbox viewer, Frame Trapped is working on Street Fighter V versions of their Director and Combo Trainer tools, as well as a game-to-speech feature that will provide blind players with on-screen details.
As this is merely an alpha release, there are sure to be a number of aspects that need finetuning or fixing. For general questions and feedback, be sure to hit up developer Tom Piddock on Twitter. Bug reports, however, should be sent to their dedicated email address: frametrappedbugs@gmail.com.

Hori has released a version 2.0 of the Real Arcade Pro. 4 Kai for PlayStation®4 that has a pc mode and uses the xbox 360 controller driver so it is xinput. Why madcatz couldn't have simply done this i have no clue. They could have made more money and there would have been no backlash over the arcade sticks not working on PC even though they were marketed for sfv to work on PC. It surprises me that a Japanese company would know to do this and the american company that makes officially licensed sfv arcade sticks completely drops the ball on this.

Seems like bad business strategy was in all aspects of sfv whether it was in game or the peripherals. I also heard about the sfv fightpads being complete junk. The hori stick also is 50$ cheaper than the madcatz sfv te s+.

Probably has to do with the arcade scene on top of all of the other things. They did rate it a 2 so that has more to do with it I imagine. You think SF would be a given sale there though.
They released some info about "upcoming stuff" but no mention of Alex.

Speaking of info heres an interview combofiend from uproxx:
‘Street Fighter V’ Producer Peter Rosas Talks Single-Player Modes, Balance Tweaks, And Sexy Costumes
I’ve spent the majority of my life playing Street Fighter and yet I’ve never become particularly good at it. Oh, sure, I can best unsuspecting and equally unskilled friends and family members, but I’ve never truly grasped the art of stringing moves together into an actual strategy. I just like throwing Hadokens, y’know? I don’t think I’m alone in that — there are a lot of casual street fighting men and women out there, and Capcom has tried to sell Street Fighter V as the perfect stepping-on point for new, lapsed and casual players.
Having played and reviewed Street Fighter V, I can say the mechanics do feel more accessible than they have in years, but unfortunately some other aspects of the game are far less welcoming. I recently asked Street Fighter V Associate Producer Peter Rosas the new fight mechanics and why some of the game’s modes and artistic choices seem to contradict Capcom’s casual-friendly messaging…
Why did Capcom decide it was time to streamline the series with Street Fighter V?
As Street Fighter IV had already been out for about eight years, we noticed that it became rather difficult for newcomers to play competitively due to a large number of complex mechanics present, as well as the robust roster. As the real magic of Street Fighter lies in out thinking your opponent and not in performing long combos filled with numerous button presses, we felt that it was the perfect time to hit reset and go back to basics.
Speaking of going back to basics, explain the new V-System. Why would it appeal to less experienced gamers?
The Variable System, or V-System, is the core of Street Fighter V’s battle engine. It consists of V-Skills and V-Triggers, both of which allow players to access the deeper aspects of their character through simple button presses. V-Skills, performed by pressing the medium attack buttons together, allow players to perform a skill that may help them around their character’s weakness. V-Triggers, performed by pressing the heavy attack buttons together, allow players to perform a unique ability that can help them potentially win the game even when they’re at a deficit.
What about the EX Gauge and Critical Arts? How do those work?
The EX Gauge is where EX attacks and Critical Arts pull from. EX attacks are improved versions of a character’s special moves that contain unique properties, such as complete invincibility, higher damage output or faster start up speed. These EX attacks take one stock of the EX Gauge. Critical Arts are a character’s most dramatic and damaging attack and take up the entire EX Gauge to perform.
Pulling off Critical Arts can be pretty difficult. Doesn’t that run contrary to making Street Fighter V more accessible?
Not necessarily. Players don’t have to use Critical Arts to find success within Street Fighter V. They’ll fare perfectly fine if they use the EX Gauge for EX attacks. What’s more important to success is the proper use of V-Skills and V-Triggers, which are performed through the simple press of a few buttons.
Do you feel Street Fighter V strikes the right balance between accessibility and complexity?
Definitely. In Street Fighter V, players have been provided access to the deeper strategic aspects of their character with the press of two buttons. What they do once they access those aspects is up to them.
On the subject of things to do, Street Fighter V is currently lacking in single player options, which a lot of casual gamers prefer. Why wasn’t more of a focus put on single player?
Although the game didn’t launch with a traditional Arcade Mode, we are excited about the two all-new single player modes (Character Story and Survival) currently in Street Fighter V and we have plans to refine and expand onto those experiences in the near future. Additionally, we’re unveiling two new Challenge Modes this month and looking into adding a Versus CPU mode soon, as well. The Story Expansion will be released in June 2016 as a free update to all players. This is the first time in franchise history that fans will be able to play through this type of cinematic experience in a Street Fighter game. More new (unannounced) gameplay content for offline players will be made available for free throughout 2016 and beyond, so players who prefer the single player aspects will have plenty more to chew on soon.
Street Fighter V‘s roster is pretty eclectic. Which characters should beginner players focus on?
I’d say beginners should start with Cammy or Birdie. Cammy is extremely fast, very straight forward and has a minimal amount of special moves to learn. Beginners will be able to concentrate on which attacks to use quicker without having to worry about performing special moves. Birdie is a slower, long range, higher damage character. Beginners will find success with him if they learn which attacks hit the furthest.
Playing online can often be a rude awakening for less-skilled players. Has anything been done to make this a more welcoming experience?
Our matchmaking system has been tweaked to ensure that players are always playing someone around their skill level. Even if a player meets another who may be more experienced than them initially, within a few games, they should be put into a more appropriate skill bracket. The wins will come eventually… it just takes some practice and determination.
Was any thought given to attracting more women to the Street Fighter franchise? There’s been some debate over the female fighter’s costumes.
Definitely, and we’ve been seeing an increase in female players and female attendees at our competitive events. In Street Fighter V, all of the female fighters are extremely strong and capable of going toe-to-toe with the male fighters. As for their costumes, these are slightly modified legacy designs that have been popular ever since they were first introduced. And to be fair, many of the male characters in Street Fighter V have some interesting attire, too! Zangief is never one to be shy and the new battle costume for Ryu has been dubbed “Hot Ryu” by our fans. Since the early days, Street Fighter has had a long history of providing players with colorful and unique characters set in a rich and fantastical universe. For Street Fighter V characters that have appeared in previous Street Fighter games, we wanted to stay true to their original look, but update them in a way that made sense for each character’s unique journey.
My favorite way to play Street Fighter is on the same couch with my opponent. Are there any plans to expand local multiplayer? Perhaps the ability to set up tournaments or some sort of party-friendly mode?
In terms of expanding the local multiplayer options, we don’t have any plans right now, but that could change in the future.
Capcom has said they want Street Fighter V to be an evolving platform. Could we see significant changes in the balance or style of the game, or will the focus mostly be on more content (fighters, stages, etc.)?
Yes. In addition to adding more new content on a regular basis, we plan to make balance changes to the title at the conclusion of the Capcom Cup, our large annual tournament in December that celebrates the culmination of our yearlong tour (Capcom Pro Tour). This will give us time to monitor the player landscape and get a better idea of what difficulties players have faced throughout the year. Once the balance update has been finalized, it will be available for free to all users.
Finally, and most importantly, when’s T. Hawk being added to the game? A Street Fighter game isn’t complete until it has T. Hawk in it.
Last I heard, T. Hawk was out maintaining the safety of his Thunderfoot tribe! Unfortunately, I don’t have anything to announce regarding T. Hawk right now, but we plan on adding a bunch of new characters in the years to come, so you never know!

Saw that earlier. Here's the information on the update. www.capcom-unity.com/haunts/blog/2016/03/04/sfv-post-launch-status-update-vol-6Hey everyone! We're back today with another Street Fighter V status update, this time detailing how we will be dealing with players with high disconnect rates (aka rage quitters) in the short term while we continue to work on a permanent solution. Hit the jump for more information.
First off, we want to thank the community for being so proactive on this issue. Ever since last week, we’ve received a ton of videos both here on Unity and our social channels which we've been able to cross reference with our data and put together a clear picture as to which players are abusing the system. Though we were pretty confident that players in our system who had high disconnect rates were indeed those who were attempting to avoid a loss at all costs, we didn’t want to start dishing out any punishments without clear proof.
Since then, we've been working hard with the SFV server team to put together a process to pinpoint users who are clearly abusing the system and we're happy to announce that we can now do this without any proof of video. We will be punishing players on a weekly basis who have extremely high disconnect rates coupled with unrealistic win rates.
To be clear, we are only targeting the worst offenders in our system, so if you have had a few instances of being disconnected during a match, you have nothing to worry about. The players who fit the criteria of what we would call a “Rage Quitter” typically have an 80-90% disconnect rate and their accounts sit far outside of the norm as compared to the majority of other players.
The Penalty
Starting last week, we penalized roughly 30 players in our system by docking their League Points. Players who log into their account and see that their LP and Rank has dropped significantly can consider this a warning. We will be continuing to monitor these accounts in the coming weeks and will take further action if needed.
Moving forward, we will be making a sweep each week based on accounts in our system that have abnormally high disconnect rates (particularly at the end of the match) and will reset their League Points.
While we don’t have an exact ETA on a permanent solution, we will let everyone know as soon as it is in place.
March Update
We know you're all very eager to hear more about what will be included in the March update, in addition to getting more details on Alex. We will have a major news drop next week on what modes are coming, additional bug fixes and more, so stay tuned!
Required Ports for SFV
For those of you who are having issues connecting to our servers, Capcom Japan has released another tip that may help some users. We wanted to share that with you today.
They recommend checking and seeing if these remote ports are allowed on your router and PC as it could help with logging into our servers.
TCP: 80, 443, 20002, 30840, 30850, 30870
UDP: 30840-30859, 30870-30879
Current Fixes
We have also made a few additional fixes on the server side recently.
An issue where some users could not be found in Rival Search is now resolved.
Fixed an issue with players being disconnected immediately after creating a Battle Lounge.
Additional Known Issues
Here are a few other issues we are aware of and are working to resolve.
Users with “-“ and “_” in their Fighter ID can’t be searched.
If you get disconnected while making a Fighter ID, your Fighter ID will be either your PSN or Steam ID.
Fighter Profile data is currently not populating with information. This will come at a later date.
That’s it for today! As always, if you have any feedback, feel free to leave a comment here on Unity or send a tweet to @sfvserver!

Some Xian interview from ibtimes via eventhubs:
Razer's Kun 'Xian' Ho Embraces An Uncertain 'Street Fighter V' Future
Xian is one of the best "Street Fighter" pros in the world, but his preferred character is not in "Street Fighter V." Despite that, Xian is embracing the challenge with a big tournament just a few weeks away.
After winning the biggest "Street Fighter" tournament in 2013, Kun "Xian" Ho signed a sponsorship with gaming laptop and accessories maker Razer and solidified his place as one of the best pro "Ultimate Street Fighter IV" players in the world. With the debut of "Street Fighter V," Xian will have an uphill battle to keep his place among the world's best.
"Street Fighter V," released Feb. 16, is a new take on the iconic fighting game series by Capcom. There are some classic characters, some new characters and a few tweaks to the game's mechanics. Unfortunately for Xian, his main character, Gen, is not in the game and has yet to be announced as a downloadable option. Having won the annual EVO tournament with Gen in 2013 and third place in Capcom Cup 2015, earning him $25,000, Xian has to find a new character with a major tournament taking place at the end of March.
"I have to transition all the skills for Gen, and I may not be able to apply it in 'Street Fighter V,'" Xian told IBTimes. “I found I have to relearn everything again.” After playing through the initial roster of 16 fighters, Xian has yet to pick out a preferred character.
Xian won't have much time to adjust with a big tournament taking place just a month after the release of "Street Fighter V." Final Round 19 is the first premier event in the Capcom Pro Tour. The tournament victor earns an automatic spot in the year-end Capcom Cup, which last year had a first-place prize of $120,000. Xian secured his spot in the tournament by winning Final Round 18.
Despite the recent run of success, Xian is unsure if he can repeat that feat in 2016. "In ‘Street Fighter V,’ I am worried I can’t live up to the expectations, especially with the upcoming tournament," Xian said. His goals for 2016 are to figure the game out and qualify for the Capcom Cup.
Because "Street Fighter V" is a new game, everything is still in flux. New players could find early success and there are new combos and techniques to learn each day. "With a few hundred people registering for Final Round, I can't foresee what's going to happen," Xian said. "I don't know who the good players are. There's no history or videos. I think, over time, it'll get better. But, at the start, it'll be a little bit shaky."
Part of that is due to "Street Fighter V" itself, which Xian says favors faster gameplay. "In regards to 'Street Fighter V,' I find the system to be simpler," Xian said. "It's a more offensive style of play."
While playing online, Xian said he's yet to play a "time over" match (where players win on health points) in "SFV." "Ultra Street Fighter IV" was a more technical game with low damage that led more players to run out the clock if they had a health advantage.
There are a few players, such as Daigo and Momochi, whose style of play and preference of character will fit well with Capcom's latest game. For an early favorite, Xian picks Infiltration, a top-ranked player known for his versatility and ability to play a broad range of characters.
The easier style could be a boon for the fighting game community. "Street Fighter" has the cachet, but the not the cash of eSports. Large tournaments for multiplayer online battle arena games such as "Dota 2" or "League of Legends" have prize pools with millions of dollars on the line. More people may be familiar with Ryu or Ken, but that has not translated to larger prize pools.
"I expect ‘Street Fighter V’ to go eSports this year," Xian said. "I think the game has a really huge following. Twitch viewers are up, and everything is growing." He cites the free-to-play model and availabilty on PC as the reasons why "Dota 2" and "League of Legends" have amassed huge followings. The learning curve, additional joystick and console-based popularity have limited the scope of fighting games.
That could change with "Street Fighter V" with its great net code and availability on PC and PS4. "Personally, I hope it would get near ‘Dota 2’ or ‘League of Legends.’ I know it would be really hard, but that’s the final goal," Xian said.
Online play will open up a whole new community for "Street Fighter V," according to Xian. Previously, finding a match online with an overseas opponent was too difficult in "Ultra Street Fighter IV." The net code used in "Street Fighter V" makes it easier for Xian, based in Singapore, to play against opponents in the United States even with a poor connection.
Xian is embracing the challenge of the uncertain. He says he's competitive and excited about learning a new game. For players looking to improve their own skills, Xian recommends looking at the frame data. Learning the frame advantage can let players know which moves to use more frequently. By finding the best moves available for their character, players can focus on learning those buttons and combinations to create a competitive advantage.

Here is a discussion in Best of III from eventhubs:
'The beautiful thing about Street Fighter 5: When you lose, you know why' - Long Island Joe and BigBird join Best of 3
This week's Best of 3 was filled with plenty of intriguing guests and discussion as Adel "FA|BigBird" Anouche and Joe "Long Island Joe" Ciaramelli both stopped by to discuss playing in the first Street Fighter 5 majors.
A long time member of the competitive FGC, L.I. Joe has seen a few top eight finishes in his day, but it hasn't been since 2011 that the east coast player has had much of any luck in any big tournaments.
Joe walked back into the winners circle Winter Brawl X with a tournament victory in Street Fighter 5. His road to first place was filled with impressive play, including such sequences as the one below against one of the favorites to win, PG|Filipino Champ.
www.eventhubs.com/images/2016/feb/28/winter-brawl-x-finals-highlight-6/
Joe details his SF5 experience thus far, as does BigBird earlier in the show. The group also takes some time to discuss ethics in the community, giving final thoughts on the Filipino Champ/BE|Kane Blueriver rivalry.
Joe's interview begins around 47:00.

Here is an interview about exhibition from eventhubs: 'It just shows that anyone can become a champion in Street Fighter 5 if they tried' - Combofiend sheds more light on the Lupe vs. Daigo exhibition In a recent installment of Best of 3, Street Fighter 5 associate producer Peter "Combofiend" Rosas sat in to discuss the launch of the new title and some of the festivities that came with it. As most of us know, a special exhibition match between hip hop artist Lupe Fiasco and legendary fighting gamer MCZ|Daigo Umehara was arranged to commemorate the game's release. To many fans' disbelief, Fiasco emerged victorious from the three-out-of-five set. Though viewers claim that Daigo was merely sandbagging to add more excitement to the event, Combofiend shared some behind-the-scenes details that seem to prove otherwise. "A lot of people think that Lupe doesn't really know how to play," Combofiend starts. "[Lupe said,] I know how to play Street Fighter, I just don't know how to play 5." The hip hop artist actually showed up early to the event for the sole purpose of putting in some training mode time before his match. The rapper's level of competency in Street Fighter 5 surprised Combofiend and many of the viewers tuning in. On the other side of the coin, Combofiend notes that Daigo didn't have much time with the game either (at the time). "It was kind of like [Daigo's] first day too," Rosas said. "You may have noticed during the match that he missed some meaties and other things like that." Daigo undoubtedly missed a number of his combos and set ups throughout the exhibition, which Combofiend feels was attributed to The Beast's unfamiliarity with the game. As for what Rosas thinks about Lupe's victory? "It just shows that anyone could really become a champion in this game if they tried." We may get another look at Lupe Fiasco's fighting game skills as RZR|Xian recently challenged the artist to a King of Fighters exhibition. www.eventhubs.com/news/2016/feb/28/xian-challenged-lupe-fiasco-king-fighters-exhibition-and-lupe-accepted-can-famed-hip-hop-artist-take-out-another-fighting-game-legend/

Heres another Excellent Adventures from eventhubs:
After V-Trigger activation, every character gets a juggle with any move; Combofiend offers some Street Fighter 5 wisdom on Excellent Adventures
The Street Fighter 5 Excellent Adventures continue with Peter "Combofiend" Rosas, and amidst the trash talk and Rock, Paper, Scissors sessions the Capcom developer hit us with a bit of information that may be new to some.
During some down time between online matches, Rosas explained that a mid combo V-Trigger cancel will automatically grant juggle properties, meaning any character can follow up if the opponent is in the air.
This is most pertinent to following target combos that knock down, such as Ryu's medium punch>heavy punch>roundhouse, as they don't normally allow any kind of follow up. A common combo with Ryu sees him V-Trigger cancel his roundhouse to follow with a light Tatsu, which is a perfect example of Rosas' statement.

The problem with this game is it hasn't reached it's full potential. I'm willing to wait, but it's gonna take time. We still have issues with: Connections, rage quitters, the point system, anemic single player content, and so on. It will take time to fix, but for now I'll just wait.

Well a lot of the potential in a fighter comes from mastering the game. If you play more for the sake of the overall game and no the fighting aspect then yea. Even then you still have a new fighting engine that is being mastered. Though if you wait too long you fall behind.
Ah, gaming.

Here some info from shoryuken:
Take a Peek at Street Fighter V’s Hitboxes Courtesy of Frame Trapped
With the Frame Trapped application now in its alpha testing phase, Street Fighter V players have a world of new information right at their fingertips. Sadly, though Frame Trapped is free to download and use, it’s only possible for PC players to reap its benefits.
frametrapped.com/ Luckily, todoro3S has begun the long process of recording and uploading hitboxes for all of the Street Fighter V cast to help spread this undeniably useful information. They’ve created clips for a little less than half of the cast so far, and we’ve included the Karin video below to give you an idea of what to expect. You can find the rest of the playlist here.

Here some player info from eventhubs:
Two players have finally cracked the rank of Super Platinum on the Street Fighter 5 leader boards
Today marked the first time a player has reached the rank of Super Platinum in the Street Fighter 5 leader boards. Arturo "TS|Sabin" Sanchez has taken his Dhalsim to the next level by earning 10,035 League Points.
If you take a look at the rankings, you'll notice that a F.A.N.G player by the name of WORLD_COMBO is actually just ahead of Sanchez with 10,047 LP, but this player has been accused of rage quitting, and we've found some video evidence to back that up.
Only one example isn't quite enough to deem someone a cheater, so take it as you will. In any case, here are the top 21 players on the global SF5 leader boards as of today at about 2 p.m. PST.

Capcom punishes top ranked Street Fighter 5 player by docking over 9,000 League Points
TS|Sabin and World_Combo, were the first to rise to the rank of Super Platinum on Street Fighter 5's online leader boards.
There have been accusations that the latter has been manipulating the system by quitting matches early to avoid losing points, and it appears Capcom has enforced a punishment.
Though we've heard Capcom has started taking action against rage quitters, we now have our first actual example, and by no means is it a small one.
World_Combo, a F.A.N.G player from Japan, stood at an impressive 10,047 League Points and number one ranked spot as of earlier today. Just a short while ago, an online search showed him to be down to 675 LP, with a Bronze ranking.

Some of those are definitely cheaters lol. I am guessing they won't be just resetting the points now.

This guide covers everything from the effectiveness of each normal attack to how to properly utilize Vega's critical art. We learn that Vega is an extremely fast fighter with some of the best pokes in the game.
Unfortunately, he has no invincible reversal, making his wake up and anti-air game fairly weak.
Check out the quick Vega rundown below.

R. Mika: Major threat or fledgling fighter? Decide for yourself after watching her official Street Fighter 5 character guide
As players continue to form opinions about the cast of Street Fighter 5, R. Mika has become one of the most polarized characters on the roster in regards to the tier lists.
It seems the general opinion on Mika is split between putting here amongst the very top or the very bottom of the SF5 fighters. (Please take a moment to go on Floe's Twitter and ask him if Mika is good.)
twitter.com/Floejisan We take a closer look at her today with her official SF5 character guide, provided by the makers of the game themselves. In it, they cover all of Mika's basic attacks, special moves and offer commentary on her general feel and flow.
Here are the pros and cons they came up with for the rainbow fighter:
