The censorship seems arbitrary tbh. They take somethings out but then add some things in. Juri's costume was censored, but they gave the girls swimsuits. I just finished the story mode and honestly it was okay. Nothing stellar, but if you're a long time SF fan you'll possibly enjoy it. Every fighting game has swimsuits at the beach. No big deal there. It's still really dumb. The story was your typical FGC story. Entertaining and passed the time for a bit. It had a lot similar with Alpha 3 actually.

Chariot Tackle juggles, Aegis Reflector setups and more: Day one Urien combo roundup
The Street Fighter V cinematic story went live last night, and the community is already coming up with tons of tech for the unreleased characters.
Urien's iconic Aegis Reflector is his V-Trigger, and it seems as though it's not too different from its past iteration. Li Joe has wasted no time seeking out ways to put it to good use.
www.eventhubs.com/images/2016/jul/01/li-joe-urien-combos/
Some of the setups players have found so far are quite reminiscent of third strike. This combo in particular features a reset in the middle that pushes the damage up to around 60 percent, and stuns to boot.
www.eventhubs.com/images/2016/jul/01/urien-reset-combo/
In the videos below you'll not only find some of the flashier combos, but also some basic things to practice while we wait for Urien's full release.

Juri and Urien's character-specific story mode cutscenes discovered
Fans continue to data-mine Street Fighter 5 on PC now that the latest update is in full effect.
Yesterday, we saw alternate costumes for Juri and Urien, and today we've got more content featuring these two fighters. Both characters' story mode playthroughs have surfaced, though these videos only contain the cutscenes and no actual gameplay footage.
These differ from the general story scenes found in the new expansion that we saw Juri and Urien in yesterday. For those who wish to avoid spoilers, we won't say any more than that.

Groove to the New Music Featured in Street Fighter V’s July Update
With the July update to Street Fighter V, Capcom released not only two characters, but also a couple of new stages for hungry fighters to spend their Fight Money on. It stands to reason that new characters and new stages also mean new music!
XuxesGB has added extended cuts of all of the new themes to his YouTube channel–into the existing SFV theme playlist –for your listening pleasure. These include the themes for Kanzuki Beach, High Roller Casino, and the character themes for Ibuki and Balrog.
www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLbiHEMgy-HoeM4ORKML5gXDytwc_8CFkQ
All of the new themes are particularly exciting, but I recommend taking a listen to both rounds of the Kanzuki Beach theme in particular–these tracks sound like they were ripped straight from the 90s heyday of Darkstalkers.

Devastating Feng Shui Engine combos, tricky mixups, and more - get a glimpse into Juri's potential with these early combos
Juri fans have quite a bit to get used to soon in Street Fighter 5. She's undergone quite a few changes this time around, and much like with Urien, the community is getting a decent head start into seeing what she's capable of.
The changes to Juri's Fuharenkyaku lead to some interesting combo possibilities, as the charged versions of the attack link into one another. When her V-Trigger is active, she no longer needs to store a charge, leading into even more opportunity.

Desk uncovers interesting glitch using Ibuki's V-Trigger bombs
As expected, Desk has jumped right into the lab, working with the new content that's been added to Street Fighter 5. This time around, he's stumbled onto something interesting regarding Ibuki's V-Trigger.
If you look closely, you'll notice that when Ibuki manages to land a blow around the same frame that her bomb explodes, the resulting knockup is cancelled, and her opponent remains standing.
www.eventhubs.com/images/2016/jul/02/ibuki-bomb-setup/
Ibuki isn't the only character to be affected by the same frame hit glitch, but the way that it works with her V-Trigger could make for some interesting resets down the road.

Full screen juggles, crazy bomb combos and explosions everywhere; Doopliss' Ibuki combo exhibition proves she can keep her foes in the air for days
Doopliss has produced yet another fascinating combo video, this time featuring Street Fighter 5's Ibuki.
Doopliss shows us how to absolutely demoralize opponents with seemingly endless combos as the young ninja juggles her foes almost endlessly. Her kunai allows her to keep people locked in combos even from a screen's length away.
From what we see here in this showcase, Ibuki's potential with her V-Trigger bombs is vast. We eagerly look forward to see what other crazy sequences players will eventually come up with using the character's explosive juggle tactics.

Juli's memories have been erased several times, Santamu tries her best not to wound her opponents - These two Dolls feature in the latest SF5 profiles
We're now moving into the latter half of Shadaloo Dolls, with Juli, who Street Fighter Alpha players should be well familiar with, as well as the spear-wielding Santamu.
Introduction
This time, we're introducing one of the currently active Dolls.
She's apparently some sort of descendant of a tribe or ... ? I don't quite get it.
She's the second oldest of the members, so she's also somewhat of a big sister type.
Basic info
Name: Juli Height: 164cm Weight: 49kg Blood type: B Birthday: 22nd of July? Country of origin: Germany? Likes: Avocado Dislikes: Confined spaces
Profile
She's a woman of few words, but she's also a very obliging person so she often accepts consultations from the other Dolls.
She's a very rational person, to the point where she can sometimes come off as cold-hearted.
It's not certain whether she was originally born in Germany, but she was currently studying there when she was brought in.
The memories of her past have been erased numerous times.
Master F.A.N.G sure is something, huh! But, I hope he never comes to erase my memories!
Introduction
Here's another introduction to one of the Dolls.
She's equipped with a spear! Isn't that against the rules?!
Though, Master Vega fights with a claw, and Février is always toting around her guns, so I guess it's fine.
Basic info
Name: Santamu Height: 177cm Weight: 64kg Blood type: O Birthday: 9th of August Country of origin: Ethiopia Likes: All kinds of sports, animals Dislikes: Injections
Profile
She uses a spear that's roughly as long as she herself is tall.
She always brings along her Golden Lion Tamarin named Kiki. It's named after how its cry sounds.
Kiki doesn't help her in battle, but is useful in gathering information.
She's talented in sports and mostly joyful, and doesn't really bother with small stuff.
It's not uncommon for her to read the mood wrongly, and misinterpret the situation.
She loves animals, and living creatures in general, so even when she's battling an enemy, she takes care not to wound them too badly.

Noemblu hates people who talk much, Decapre gets angry when something goes wrong - The final two Dolls detailed in new SF5 profiles
The final two Shadaloo Dolls are here, and it's Noemblu and someone who any Ultra Street Fighter 4 players should be very well familiar with, Decapre.
Noemblu is described as the Dolls' powerhouse, while Decapre is their troublemaker.
Introduction
We're introducing even more dolls today.
Next up, we have the Dolls' resident powerhouse.
She spins around wielding two handaxes, sweeping her opponents off their feet.
Basic info
Name: Noemblu Height: 173cm Weight: 63kg Blood type: O Birthday: 11th of November Country of origin: Mexico Likes: Growing vegetables Dislikes: People who don't stop talking
Profile
She never speaks without purpose.
The other dolls understand what she wants to communicate perfectly, even if she doesn't open her mouth.
She's the diligent worker-type who does her job silently.
She has a very keen sense of smell.
Introduction
Here, we have the final Doll.
She has been greatly affected by Master Bison's Psycho Power.
She has vowed her life to eradicating Killer Bee!
Basic info
Name: Decapre Height: 164cm Weight: 46kg Blood type: B Birthday: 18th of December Country of origin: Russia Likes: Dogs Dislikes: Cammy, ambiguous expressions
Profile
Since we've finally reached her, lets show her maskless visage as well!
She's the troublemaker of the Dolls. She's usually the silent type, but quick to anger.
If something goes wrong, her temper rises immediately.
She cuts her enemies down with the specially-made dagger mounted to her arm, which is powered by Psycho Power!
That's all for the Dolls. To finish up, here's a Doll poster which makes Decapre look like the main character.

Shadows of Ibuki's Street Fighter 4 mix ups, meaty Balrog set ups, Juri V-Trigger combos and a whole lot more; Street Fighter 5 mega round up
We have a surplus of Street Fighter 5 content highlighting the game's newest characters, and so we've collected a good handful of videos to share with you today.
We kick things off with a single wake up mix up that echoes what we so bitterly recall from Ibuki's Street Fighter 4 days. This is only one of many interesting clips of Street Fighter 5 Ibuki tech from a Japanese player by the name of Mohumohukedama.
If Ibuki can score a Crush Counter sweep, she can set up a very ambiguous kunai toss on her opponent's wake up. Now we haven't heard of a way for this to lead back into a vortexy loop... yet, but given SF5's high damage output, it's scary in its own right.
www.eventhubs.com/images/2016/jul/02/ibuki-set/
Ibuki players would do well to head over to Mohumohukedama's Twitter, as he's posted a ton of short videos showcasing his findings with the character. Hit the jump for more Ibuki tech.

A 16-hitter from F.A.N.G, Ibuki juggles for days and a coast to coast Rashid combo; Pepopulo's style CMV is truly epic
How they were inspired to think up some of these combos is beyond us, but a player by the name of Pepopulo has come out with a Street Fighter 5 CMV that's worth watching more than once.
Utilizing parries, slow-moving fireballs, odd hitboxes and more, Pepopulo executes some surprising sequences we didn't even think were possible. Take a look at this Ibuki juggle that almost never seems to end:

People are playing Street Fighter 5's Juri and Urien online; PC mods enable use of full versions from story mode
Crafty Street Fighter 5 fans have been hard at work siphoning everything they can from the game's latest update. As we've previously witnessed, PC modders managed to bring playable, albeit buggy, versions of the unreleased DLC fighters Juri and Urien into the fray.
Recent developments have taken things a step further, though. Now, full versions of the characters directly from the new story expansion -- where they are seen playable for the first time -- are being used in-game and online.
Players have found a way to enable online use of these characters in battle lounges, and they can be encountered on both PC and PlayStation 4, even if the opponent doesn't have them modded in.
We are currently unsure what the repercussions of using these characters online are, if any, so if you decide to mod them into your game, please do so at your own risk. Performance-wise, things seem to work perfectly fine with these characters in actual matches, but we may see Capcom crack down on users who do so in the near future.
You can find footage of Juri and Urien's full story mode forms in training mode, a handful of real matches against Juri, and instructions on how to add them in after the jump.

Lightning fast perfects, terrifying V-Skill mind games, and big damage - RB's Street Fighter 5 Balrog is a beast
RZR|RB has been putting in work as one of the two newest characters to join the Street Fighter 5 roster -- Balrog. Thanks to the efforts of our friend YogaFlame24, we get to see a bit of what RB has been up to.
Balrog is a character that has a nasty high/low mix up game and can dish out a ton of damage with one opening. This highlight reel does an excellent job of demonstrating many of the character's strongest techniques with much success.
RB scores a handful of fast perfects, lands plenty of quick overheads from V-Skill, and scares the opponent into hitting buttons only to hit a crush counter crouching heavy punch when they think it's finally their turn.
For a quick taste of what you can expect to see in this video, be sure to check out the GIF below.

Ban all PC players? Why would that solve something that only a minority are doing? If they are banning people who cheat or something that's another issue.
That said I have been enjoying the game much more now with the recent update. V reversal works on guard recovery properly, proper matchmaking meaning I play people at my rank or around it and no longer bunches of silvers and the occasional gold and brozne. I might just do ranked now since it's a fast way to get matches. It makes the experience much better and the store is also great.
I'm leaving Overwatch alone for now and playing this. I'm apathetic towards that game now so I'll wait next season to pick it up and try it out again. Hopefully they will make a lot of improvements by then.

Ibuki's air throw invincibility glitch allows her to perform some pretty insane safe jumps; will this be a problem for EVO?
Just a few days ago, we saw that Ibuki has a glitch when it comes to her bomb hit animation. Even more recently, TOOL ASSISTED unveiled the fact that the character gains six frames of landing invincibility after performing her air throw.
If she performs her air throw, Ibuki is fully invulnerable to both strikes and grabs as she lands, implying that players can now create some nasty safe jump set ups. Below are snippets showing hitboxes and in game examples:
www.eventhubs.com/images/2016/jul/05/ibuki-invincible-02/
www.eventhubs.com/images/2016/jul/05/ibuki-invincible-01/
EVO is just 10 days away, and so we naturally have to ask if the tournament organizers should allow Ibuki knowing she currently has issues like this and the bomb glitch.

Not as heavy on the fireballs, but makes up for it in damage dealt: Here's what we know about Street Fighter 5's Juri so far With the addition of Street Fighter 5's new cinematic story expansion, several chapters feature playable versions of currently unreleased DLC fighters, Juri and Urien. To get a better idea of what these two fighters might play like when they're actually released, we've taken the time to run back the chapters and get as much time playing both characters in as possible. Today, I will be sharing my findings with Juri. Right out of the gate, Juri has quite a few familiar normal attacks. Most of her face buttons come straight out of the Street Fighter 4 series, with a handful now mapped as command normals. She deals great damage, but isn't quite as heavy on the fireballs and zoning this time around. Let's run through the moves she has in her current state. Special moves Fuharenkyaku: Juri's QCF+K works very similarly to its Street Fighter 4 series counterpart, but with different moves for different kicks. The light kick version charges a fireball that can be thrown by doing another QCF+LK input. Unlike SF4, Juri no longer has to hold down a kick button to store a fireball. Instead, the projectile -- and all Fuharenkyaku moves -- are automatically stored after the initial input. With medium kick, Juri performs a kick that appears to be an overhead and can be followed up with a link into crouching MP or MK. If you have this move stored, Juri can tack on solid damage without the use of meter by combo-ing from a crouching or standing heavy punch, which you'll see an example of later in this story. Heavy kick Fuharenkyaku sees Juri initiating a two-hit spinning kick. This can be combo-ed after a crouching medium kick, can be V-Trigger cancelled after the first hit for combo extension, and is great for a combo ender as it leads to a knock down. All three Fuharenkyaku moves can be held at once, and Juri has a meter on-screen that shows which Fuharenkyaku moves she has charged, which is indicated by three unique icons. I haven't found much use for her 4-hit spinning kick EX version outside of tacking on extra damage, unfortunately. Tensenrin: Juri still has her pinwheel kick, but in a bit of a different capacity. Fans will quickly find that when performing a DP with light kick, she'll launch into her tried and true normal pinwheel kick. It's still fast, and it can be combo-ed into quite easily to help Juri close distance. The MK and HK versions have an all new spin to them. This time around, both button strengths make Juri travel diagonally up at different angles. These are now good for anti-air, and EX works similarly, but ends with a kick that spikes down. Ryodansatsu: This is a brand new special move for Juri. Hitting QCB+K now initiates a flipping kick that looks like Chun-Li's old Hazanshu. Different button strengths change the range of the kick and each one causes a knockdown. The most useful one, however, is her EX as it pops the opponent up, allowing for a follow up. www.eventhubs.com/images/2016/jul/05/juri-ex-juggle-combo/V-Moves V-Skill: Juri's V-Skill is a dashing kick that appears to be an overhead. This attack passes through the opponent and can be charged, making it travel farther. When fully charged, this V-Skill will hit twice: once as she travels through the opponent and twice with the kick. What makes it even more interesting is that it can be canceled into from normals. www.eventhubs.com/images/2016/jul/01/juris-v-skill//Not only that, but Juri can fake out opponents by hitting V-Skill again really quickly. This will cancel the animation mid-dash for an empty attack, which can set up some interesting pressure sequences. V-Trigger: In V-Trigger, Juri gains the ability to use her Fuharenkyaku moves without a charge. Using one of these moves causes the gauge to lower more quickly, much like Karin's Rekkas. www.eventhubs.com/images/2016/jul/01/juris-v-trigger/What makes this V-Trigger strong is the fact that it can be cancelled out of special moves. This allows Juri a little more time to confirm the combo, cancel into V-Trigger, then launch into an extended punish for more damage. As a call back to her first appearance, Juri can chain together normal attacks when in V-Trigger, much like her Feng Shui Engine Ultra in the Street Fighter 4 series. This not only opens up new combo possibilities, it gives certain normal attacks that aren't normally special cancel-able the ability to fire into special moves. www.eventhubs.com/images/2016/jul/05/juri-v-trigger-combo/Critical Art As of right now, it doesn't seem as though Juri's Critical Art has much utility. It's a large fireball that occupies a lot of the screen's vertical space and hits multiple times. After testing it in combos, it seems like this super has a slower start up than other projectile Critical Arts. It deals solid damage, so it does function well as a combo ender. www.eventhubs.com/images/2016/jul/01/juris-critical-art/I can't help but wonder if this Critical Art is just a placeholder for the time being. Perhaps we'll be seeing a more cinematic super for Juri when she is officially released. From her current design, looks like Juri isn't meant to be much of a zoning character. She has a lot of moves that appear to be overhead and her V-Skill gets her in quickly, like her dive kick used to do. Source: eventhubs

'Not all stages in Street Fighter 5 were designed for tournament play' - Capcom discusses the creative decisions behind the Kanzuki Family Beach stage With Friday's massive update, Street Fighter 5 players received a beautiful brand new stage in the Kanzuki Family Beach. The problem for tournament players, however, is that the stage's high tide heavily distorts the bottom portion of the screen. Characters' feet are obstructed, and some special moves like Birdie's energy drink are virtually hidden entirely: www.eventhubs.com/images/2016/jul/05/lol-can/Such a beautiful stage will likely never make it to the tournament scene, and competitive players are surely going to be deterred from spending the 70,000 Fight Money to access it. We reached out to Capcom to inquire about their motivations in creating the Kanzuki Family Beach the way they did, and they responded with the following: 'Not all stages in Street Fighter 5 were designed specifically for competitive tournament play...' "For some stages, like the Kanzuki Family Beach stage, the team wanted to push themselves creatively and incorporate new interactive elements like the animated water effects," they continued. "Although this particular stage may not be the best fit for tournament play, we hope that our non-tournament players will enjoy and appreciate the extra level of detail that has been added." As we said before the stage really is beautiful, and the added effect of fighting in the water is something of a fresh take. This shouldn't really be anything of a problem for casual players, and we imagine they'll take quite a liking to unique fight setting. Source: eventhubs

'We will take strict action against players currently using Juri and Urien online' - Capcom Japan also promises to fix Ibuki air throw glitch
Yesterday, a bunch of players figured out a way to use Juri and Urien online, and have been playing matches with these yet-to-be released characters.
This has, of course, not escaped Capcom's attention, and on Twitch's Capcom Channel, Street Fighter 5 producer Koichi Sugiyama and assistant producer Tomoaki Ayano appeared to discuss a few current issues with Street Fighter 5.
They started off by clarifying that the Ibuki air throw glitch is completely unintented, and that they're currently working on fixing it. It was mentioned that they can't give a concrete date right now as to when it will be fixed, but urged players to simply not use it in matches since it's an unfair advantage, and it will be gone in the near future.
They also commented on Urien and Juri having been used online in the last day. You can find details on that exchange further down.
Sugiyama and Ayano explained that they've seen the videos of how to make Urien and Juri playable on the PC version of Street Fighter 5, ahead of release, and that they have a good understanding of how to see who's been using them.
This is obviously not something that Capcom wishes to support, and they mention that they are currently investigating how to put a stop to this.
Ayano chimes in that since they're pretty much aware of what players are doing this, they will be dealt with strictly, to which Sugiyama agrees.
