Point number 4 is ultimately why I stopped playing the game. I popped it in a few months a go after dropping it; you can spend a whole match dominating an opponent and he'll just get one lucky guess or you make a mistake and you'll eat so much damage against some characters. I gave up on SF5, it's a bad game same with SF4. I play it with friends, but every-time I play it I feel nauseous. Buyers regret for sure and eventhubs keeps shilling for this game it's insane.
They keep adding stupid stuff to replace the dumb things they take out. Yeah, I don't need to deal with the unnecessary stress over and over. I like watching SF5 matches same as SF4. But, I hate playing it.Any other fighting games you're playing? I'm trying to get as many people to play KI as possible.

Modern games getting dumbed down is the norm. I don't get bothered over it, I just do something else and check occasionally.

Well, that's nifty - Street Fighter 5's 'Easter egg' costume trick works between rounds
Some of Street Fighter 5's recent DLC costumes have come along with an extra aesthetic option. By holding all three punches, light kick, and up all at the same time during the transition from the character select screen to the actual match, certain character's costumes will vary slightly, usually by way of removing a part of the outfit.
While this "Easter egg" trick was thought to only work at the start of a match, KikoMasterRD has pointed out to us that this change can also be done between rounds.
So, if you're looking to change things up during a match -- if you're wearing one of the new Halloween costumes for example -- just hold the same inputs until the next round begins.
You can switch freely between both options during rounds. This isn't a game changer by any means, but it's a neat little trick. Sometimes you just gotta take off that vest in the heat of battle.
The Street Fighter 5 Halloween stage theme is scary... especially if you've had nightmares of Skrillex dubstepping with chipmunks
Like most all the stage themes in Street Fighter 5, the new Halloween theme changes from round to round as well as when a player is nearing a knock out.
We've got the extended theme for round one, round two and panic mode for you here. Instead heading down the somber and creepy path, developers chose to keep the tempo up with more of an electronic, dubstep vibe... hence the Daft Pumpkins in the banner.
The song has one lyric, "Take this higher," that gets repeated. The pitch and speed is increased after each repetition, which makes it sound like chipmunks are singing the final line of every loop.
You can give it a listen for yourself below. Time stamps for song variances:

Street Fighter 5's latest missions won't take long, but will score you 6,600 Fight Money: Here's how to complete 'Remember That Dress?' and the others
It's Friday, which means another fresh batch of Street Fighter 5 missions has gone live. This week, we've got another set of four objectives to complete, and doing so will grant you an extra 6,600 Fight Money for your troubles.
We've been seeing a pattern with these missions every week. Three out of the four challenges tend to be self explanatory and straight forward, while one is usually cryptic. This week's mysterious challenge is called "Remember That Dress?" and isn't tough to complete.
Here's how it's done. Thanks to EventHubs reader metaf4, we were able to quickly go in and finish up this mission.
All you have to do is head into Ken's character story, select the epilogue, and that's it. You'll earn yourself a quick 5,000 money in less than a minute. You can see it being completed in the GIF below.
Use a V-Skill 10 times is another easy mission to beat. Simply pop into a Casual, Ranked, or Battle Lounge match and hit that MP+MK 10 times. Doing so will probably cause you to take a beating from your opponent, but it'll also net you 100 FM.
For the replay search, simply booting up the mode won't earn you the Fight Money. You'll actually have to look for a replay by inputting a player's Capcom Fighters Network ID, searching one of your favorites, or using one of the other options listed. Once you do so, though, you'll 500 Fight Money.
And lastly, turn on your Fight Request option, select the Casual match option, and boom. Enjoy that 1,000 Fight Money as you enter your match.

Is Street Fighter 5's next brand new character being introduced this Winter? A big clue may have been right under our noses this whole time
Back when Street Fighter 5's London stage was first revealed over a year ago, fans spotted an interesting billboard in the background. For those who looked closely, a poster for a movie called "Secret Delta" could be seen featuring a character stuck in a blizzard wearing a hoodie.
The name written on the billboard reads "Eisbahn," which as HierophantG over on /r/StreetFighter pointed out at the time means "ice rink" in German.
You can see the billboard in the background of the London stage below.
As we can see, the character's design seems to be fairly fleshed out. With a name attached to it and what looks to be some sort of ice-based powers, this could very well be a future fighter and not just a generic advertisement to occupy the stage's background.
But the plot thickens.
Another /r/StreetFighter user named SUPERVERITECH posted a direct capture of the billboard image over on the Reddit thread this past weekend.
The poster shows a "Winter 2016" release date for the Secret Delta movie, which has much more relevancy now that the time is fast approaching.
It has been over a month since Street Fighter 5's final season 1 DLC character has been released, and things have been fairly quiet since. We've seen new costumes and stage variations, but other than that there has been no word on anything relative to season 2.
Capcom Cup is taking place in the Winter of 2016 -- December 3rd, to be exact -- and it is not uncommon for the company to make a big announcement at the event. With the event so close to the end of the year, it could mean that we see the first character reveal for season 2 and an early start to the DLC season in 2017.
With the first batch of DLC fighters all being returning characters, a brand new fighter would be welcome at this point. And if Capcom hid the clue right under our noses this whole time, that would be pretty darn impressive.

Street Fighter 5's ver. 1.11 update currently available for download
Little to no information about what this server tune up entails is readily available, but it looks like Capcom might be making way for another update that could be going live as soon as today.
It seems as though X-Kira has already been prompted to download the ver. 1.11 update. According to a recent post on Facebook, the patch's file size comes in at 804MB.
'Red Bull BC One' costumes discovered in Street Fighter 5's latest update
X-Kira has already discovered some of the contents of Street Fighter 5's ver. 1.11 patch. Gear up, folks, we're getting new costumes.
Based on the screenshots shared on Facebook, we can see that these new outfits are designs for Chun-Li and Ryu that we saw concepts for earlier this year.
Two new characters and a new stage headed to Street Fighter 5 soon? Additions to both select screens reportedly found in latest patch
The plot thickens.
Fans continue to mine today's Street Fighter 5 ver. 1.11 update, and Twitter user Capcomatmebro reportedly found what appears to be an updated character select screen residing in the latest patch's files.
As we can see from the screenshots shared on Twitter, the character select screen here has 24 slots, adding two to the current 22-fighter roster.
Additionally, we see that another stage has appeared beneath the latest Spooky Arena stage variation in the store, though it remains unnamed at this time.
If these screenshots are the real deal, and it definitely looks that way, we could be seeing two new characters and a new stage added in the near future.
But is Capcom gearing up for season 2 already, or are the two potential character slots being set aside for more in season 1? Only time will tell.

New 'Dan's Dojo' mini game, new stage and more on the way to Street Fighter 5? Data mining from X-Kira reveals tons of potential new content
I have to start this off by clearly stating that none of this is official or from Capcom. Brazilian data miner X-Kira has been perusing the files from the latest Street Fighter 5 patch, and he's come across some incredibly enticing tidbits.
The first of these appears to be a new mini-game mode featuring Dan Hibiki. X-Kira has found files for a Dojo stage with Dan as a background character:
This is only the surface though. X-Kira continued delving into files to find yet another stage, this one being located in Dubai.
There's an image tucked away in said files that looks like a placeholder. It's actually just half of Rashid's character art spliced with an actual image of Dubai, but a hack into the store's downloadable content menu reveals another stage slot:
Beyond this, X-Kira has also proposed that there will be day and night variations for all stages, as well as transitions for the DLC stages that currently don't have any. He also found the following Saikyo-ryu Dojo title:
Considering Capcom is now well aware that any of this kind of content will be almost instantly found by miners once it is released, we're taking this all with a grain of salt. It could very well be that some or all of this is simply a red herring to distract us.
Seeing as there's potentially still a ton of new content on the way, we now look forward to season two of Street Fighter 5 with more excitement than ever.

Chun-Li and Ryu remove their stylish jackets: Here are the 'Easter egg' variations for Street Fighter 5's upcoming Red Bull costumes
Yesterday, we learned that Street Fighter 5's next set of costumes will be Red Bull-themed. Thanks to X-Kira once again, we now see what the outfits' "Easter egg" variations look like.
To access these alternate looks, you'll have to hold down all three punches, light kick, and up simultaneously when the game is transitioning between the character select screen and the match.
We see that for this set of costumes, both characters remove their jackets when the variation is activated.

Is Street Fighter failing to appeal to younger audiences? Alex Valle urges community to reach out before it's too late
Record breaking EVO attendance year after year is evidence that the fighting game scene has seen growth like never before, but a recent string of tweets from LU|Alex Valle warns us that with the direction we're headed, we may be missing a crucial audience.
Valle has seen it all when it comes to the FGC, and the veteran player feels it may be time to take initiative to reach more players and expand our scene.
More specifically, Mr. Street Fighter thinks we should be aiming to get college and even high school-aged players to join the competitive scene.
The gallery below highlights Valle's tweets discussing the need to promote more play amongst younger groups.
How do you feel about the current Street Fighter crowd, and the current fighting game crowd in general? Is there enough representation from the younger generations, or are we heading towards a community of only older players?

Street Fighter V’s Ring of Destiny Gets a Makeover for Red Bull Battle Grounds
As previously reported, the 1.11 update for Street Fighter V added special “Red Bull BC One” themed costumes; however, it seems that these aren’t the only Red Bull-themed additions to the game. In preparation for next week’s Red Bull Battle Grounds, the game’s Ring of Destiny stage has gotten an appropriate makeover.
As some of you may recall, the Ring of Destiny originally featured Evo 2016 branding when it first came out in July, before reverting to a more generic Capcom Pro Tour branding. For next week’s Red Bull Battle Grounds, the changes themselves are similar to what we saw for Evo 2016. The scrolling text around the arena now read “Red Bull Battle Grounds,” additionally, the twin monitors near the center of the stage now display the event’s logo.
Red Bull Battle Grounds takes place next week from November 4 to 6 in Seattle, WA.

Alex Valle's livelihood is based around shilling the game, but the problem was the launch was bad and the arcade scene is dead. Also other competitive games are more popular and less difficult to get into.

Heres what I thought of Alex Valle's statement in eventhubs: In order to get any high school or collage aged players into SF competition assuming the players themselves care about that kind of thing.
The first thing is these people must enjoy the game for what it is, which a games launch and how much content there is within the game is going to important you want people to enjoy the game and to do other things than just play other players online, that what it takes to have quality product at launch. All the responsibility is belongs to developers and publishers, if its something they can't do at the beginning then they might as give the game brand to someone different that have high standards or at least that can deliver quality products.
Another thing they can include is a free to play version (like what DOA5 & KI has) where all players can do if they don't want to pay full price is to just download the game which they have access of 4 characters (rest is something that would require to pay), and has access to almost all game modes (except Shadow Falls Story which is also require to pay). DOA5 Core Fighters had reached over 7 million downloads (with Steam recently adding Core Fighters version), just imagine how much downloads SFV could be having with a free to play version.
The rest of the points is mainly going to involve the players themselves on ever setting foot in competition from how they spend their time improving their skills, how they behave when they lose, and how much money are the players willing to spend for travel.
For starters, player skills is going to be a requirement once they set foot online or in fighting game tournaments, these people are never going to have a chance to become high rank or gain cash prizes without practice from the character they use and what kind of combos they can pull off. Are these players willing to spend time in training modes and play tons of online matches just so they are properly ready? Not get extremely upset to the point of just rage quit because they get destroyed so easily maybe to the point of just not playing anymore?
The last thing not only just players themselves but their family member/guardian are willing to go along having to go to convention (you be lucky if its closer), along with traveling to different states or country since its going to require to pay hundreds or thousand of dollars (depending on country knowing the language) from flying in air planes, paying for places to stay, and lastly food. Like if I want to go to play a DOA tournament that is taking place in EVO Japan (which is currently a rumor), I would need to save up tons of money in order to travel. Going to any gaming tournaments would be a luxury, and will require the player on how much time they have for themselves along with the money they save up for.
There are lots of factors to consider getting involved with fighting game competition from enjoyment, time, and money. Unless they host online tournaments, since online is important for videogames being able to play with other players from different regions around the world.

Street Fighter 5 ships less than 100k units between the months of April and September - Street Fighter 5 currently Capcom's 46th highest shipped game
A user that goes by the name of 'Ōkami' over at NeoGAF pointed out that less than 100k units of Street Fighter 5 have been shipped between the months of April and September. Currently the number of copies for the game shipped sits at 1.4 million, which was the same number listed in May.
Being that the number of games shipped isn't listed as 1.5 million or higher, it means that Street Fighter 5 is struggling to sell. It seems that Capcom was hoping to sell 2 million units by March 31st.
With the current number of units shipped sitting at 1.4 million, this makes Street Fighter 5 Capcom's 46th best selling game. While the game has only come out this year, this does mean there are 45 games that have been more successful for Capcom.
Capcom games that have out shipped Street Fighter 5
Resident Evil 5 Resident Evil 6 Street Fighter II Resident Evil 2 Monster Hunter Freedom 3 Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate Monster Hunter X (Cross) Monster Hunter 4 Street Fighter II Turbo Monster Hunter Freedom Unite Resident Evil 3 Nemesis Street Fighter IV Devil May Cry 4 Dead Rising 2 Resident Evil Monster Hunter 3 (Tri) G Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City Monster Hunter Freedom 2 Dino Crisis Resident Evil 4 (PlayStation 2) Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds Devil May Cry Dead Rising 3 Onimusha: Warlords Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny Resident Evil Revelations 2 Resident Evil 4 Wii edition Super Street Fighter II Monster Hunter Tri Lost Planet 2 Super Street Fighter IV Dead Rising DmC Devil May Cry Street Fighter X Tekken Devil May Cry 2 Street Fighter II' Special Champion Edition Ghosts'n Goblins Resident Evil Revelations Lost Planet Extreme Condition Resident Evil 4 (GameCube) Onimusha 3: Demon Siege Mega Man 2 Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen Final Fight Resident Evil Outbreak
Could this have an effect on how long Capcom provides future content for Street Fighter 5?
It seems as though this number does include the number of digital copies of the game as well. This is listed on the Capcom financial site:
"DL (Full-game download) includes PlayStation®Network, Xbox Live, Wii Ware and all digital download units on Wii U, Nintendo 3DS and PC etc."
"DL" is listed next to Street Fighter 5. This list is stated to be accurate as of September 30, 2016.

Street Fighter 5's latest missions net you 10,600 Fight Money; here's how to complete 'Blunder Bus' and the others
It's Friday, which means new Street Fighter 5 missions have gone live. This week, we've got another set of four objectives to complete, and for the first time that we can recall, the Fight Money reward is in the double digits -- 10,600 FM to be exact.
As we've seen previously, three out of the four challenges are self explanatory and straight forward, while one is fairly cryptic. This week's mysterious challenge is called "Blunder Bus" and you can probably guess how it's done just by the title.
Let's cover how it's done anyway. Blunder Bus: The Blunder Bus mission is very simple, and most of you reading this probably have a good idea how to complete it already.
All you have to do is head to the Bustling Side Street stage in any versus mode, and hit your opponent with a stage KO on the right side of the screen. Your opponent will be sent into the bus and taken away whilst holding that L.
Finish up the match and you'll be awarded with your 5,000 Fight Money.
Perform a normal throw 10 times: This one is straight forward, just make sure you're performing your throws in either Ranked, Casual, or Battle Lounge. Doing so will earn you 100 Fight Money.
Win 10 Ranked Matches: Normally, we only see one mission that gives players 5,000 Fight Money per week. This time however, winning 10 Ranked matches will net you another nice chunk of change.
View Rankings on the CFN: Finally, we have the fastest and easiest challenge of this week's bunch. Select the CFN from the main menu, hit "Ranking," and enjoy 500 more Fight Money.

Both Regular and Collector’s Editions of Street Fighter V for PlayStation 4 are On Sale at GameStop, Best Buy and Amazon
If you are looking to pick up Street Fighter V to catch up on all the action, now might be a great time to purchase the game as Street Fighter V is currently on sale at a number of retailers.
Both GameStop and Best Buy both have Street Fighter V for PlayStation 4 on sale for only $29.99. Take note that this is for the physical disc version and that buying them will still incur shipping and handling charges. Still, they’re decent deals for anyone looking for a physical copy of the game.
In addition to this, both Amazon and GameStop have the collector’s edition of Street Fighter V, again for PlayStation 4, on sale for $38.97. The collector’s edition includes with it a limited edition 10 inch Ryu statue, 48 page hard cover artbook, DLC cards for extra goodies, a one month subscription to the Capcom Fighters Twitch channel, digital Street Fighter comics from Udon, a Street Fighter V soundtrack sampler and more.
While Street Fighter V has had a rocky launch, the numerous updates have helped pad out the game’s content and address more than a few of the game’s issues. Features such as story mode, daily challenges, costume shop, etc. have now all been added, while issues such as the input delay have been addressed as much as they can be without affecting the game’s balance. In addition to this, the game’s cast has been expanded with six additional characters, that can be purchased either via in game Fight Money or real money.
Interested buyers for the regular disc edition can head on over to GameStop or Best Buy. Meanwhile those looking for the collector’s edition can hear to either Amazon or GameStop. With the recent update to Capcom’s financial report showing that the game is still vastly under its sales targets, discounts like these may become more common as Capcom try to shift more units of Street Fighter V.

It's not unusual for it to go on sale for that price months later, but you could find them super cheap if you bought the returns of the game. SF definitely messed up though.

Capcom's CEO has hopes for Street Fighter 5's long-term popularity, believes PlayStation 4 could sell 100 million units by 2020
In a recent interview posted over on the Japanese Esuteru blog, CEO at Capcom Kenzo Tsujimoto discussed some of the company's latest gaming IPs and the state of current hardware.
Though PlayStation 4 is the home of Street Fighter 5, Capcom's library of games is well represented on both Sony's latest console and Microsoft's Xbox One. Tsujimoto feels that the PS4's sales have the potential to double within the next four years, and that the Xbox One's sales also show promise.
"The PlayStation 4 is a very high-level machine. It's finally reached around 50 million units sold," Tsujimoto said. "I believe that by 2020, it might've reached 100 million. Microsoft's hardware could be around 40-50 million by that time as well."
The Capcom commander in chief went on to talk Street Fighter 5. Street Fighter 5 is one of Capcom's major current releases, but even with its Sony backing and a large-scale tournament circuit, it seems that the game hasn't been doing quite as well as it could. Despite this, Tsujimoto is still has faith in the title.
"Due to its e-Sports nature, we're hoping that Street Fighter 5 can remain popular for a long time," Tsujimoto said.
As of September 30th, Street Fighter 5 has moved 1.4 million units, digital included. Between April and September, the game's sales came in fairly light with less than 100,000 units being sold, according to Capcom's financial site.
Street Fighter's following in the US, Europe, and other regions is definitely strong, and Tsujimoto noted that the company already has a heavy focus on overseas consumers.
If they continue to keep players outside of Japan in mind, maintain their process of releasing regular updates, and keep the Capcom Pro Tour growing, Street Fighter 5's chances of a long and healthy life look good.

Street Fighter 5's latest missions focus on combos and net you 6,600 Fight Money: Here's how to complete 'Funny Guy' and the rest
It's Friday again, so we're back with another set of Street Fighter 5 missions and how to complete them. This week's batch puts more of a focus on combos and will reward you with an extra 6,600 Fight Money for your troubles.
As we've seen previously, three out of the four challenges are self explanatory and straight forward, while one is fairly cryptic. This week's mysterious challenge is called "Funny Guy" and actually involves one of the background NPCs.
Let's cover how it's done. Funny Guy: This mission isn't difficult to complete, but it can be tough to find out what to do exactly. Thanks to Jintsuriki, we were able to complete it in no time!
On the far left side of the London stage, you'll find a janitor in the background who is checking out the fight. As you battle on, he reacts to things that happen.
All you have to do is score a few knockdowns. Eventually, the janitor will fall over and have the bucket land on his head. Complete the match and the 5,000 FM is yours.
Perform a combo 10 times: Unlike the previous mission, this one is not difficult in the slightest to figure out. Perform 10 combos in either Ranked, Casual, or Battle Lounge matches and you'll receive 100 Fight Money.
Play a Trial / Clear Trials #01 - #05 consecutively: The last two missions go together, and won't take much time or effort to do.
