You got tired of banging your head at that site huh?

You have to learn to indulge yourself by reading and not posting. It can be hard to resist at first, but I just read the smarter posts and let them do the talking.

I've read that site you go to when I search matches from time to time out of curiosity. I don't post there though. Waste of time and energy.

Well, I think it's just I've "seen all there is to see" when it comes to versus. KMC comic versus had the best versus debates I've ever seen. Till this day I still enjoy digging up older post and reading some older threads. Comic vs was the pinnacle of versus as far as I'm concerned. No other forum came close.

I think I had some of my best times there, but it was nostalgia too. To be subjective I've had solid debates in other places. Comicvine seems better than KMC does now but overall it's the same crap.

2005 was a hell of a year. I was the fanboy slayer and I was loved and hated lol. Those were some good times in some ways though.

But yea, debating just about everything gets old. Comics, sex, money, religion. It's all about bashing your head in the wall against people who will just believe what they believe. It gets old after a while.

It was only a matter of time before the debates ran out of gas. Gotta remember the web was much newer back then and so there was more room for interpretation. Also, you had people who were real fans and more familiar with what they were debating. Current crop of debaters on the other-hand just read respect threads and regurgitate everything that everyone else says cause they are poseurs. So, it's a given that things would eventually run down.

Pretty much. Those respect things are a blessing and a curse.

It was new back then. It wasn't like anything I had done and I met some cool people then that I still talk to. Even in 05 there were times where I needed a break (though I had girl drama too going on lol.)

I like what some people say. Just nowadays I'm content reading it and I don't respond. I don't like getting caught up in it anyways. It's exhausting and I'm stuck thinking "I can't wait until this is over."

Also, the newer guys don't understand debating rules. Met people who didn't even know what BFR was. Best debates were between: Mr. Master, Galan, Galactic Storm, Leonidas, K-M, Quan Chi, Digi and nvrbeenwithagirl. Everything peaked around 2008-2009.

That list is solid. I like Quan as a person but he trolls a lot. Nvr was a troll too.

I liked Demigaws, creshosk, and jinzin too.

There are a lot of people I'm likely missing. Illadelph was also good. Smurph was also good.

Creshok was amazing when it came to superman. Overall, I agree. What's your favorite debate? I like Thanos vs Pheonix. I enjoy digging up old debates featiring those guys. KMC taught me soooo much about comics.

Are you into more cosmic level characters? There were some great street level and mid level debates too. TheMister was always solid and Srank was great with Wolverine. I like Darkstorm in the gamesvs as well.

Darkcrawler was good with Namor. There are a ton of examples I'm thinking of.

I like Spiderman vs Wolverine, Daredeveil and Cap. Spider-Man vs Wolverine. X-Men vs Fantastic Four, Flash threads are great as are Lucifer threads, Spider-Man vs Batman. Wolverine vs Ock, there were too many to count. Flash and Zoom vs Thanos and Silver Surfer was another.

I remember when Hulk vs Juggernaut was the largest debate lol.

I tend to enjoy herald level and up for debates. I like hearing about the cosmology of Marvel and DC.

I like both. I like the high end stuff, and I also like the real world technical stuff of street level threads.

Well at the higher level powers you get broken stuff due to high powersets. It's like matching Sensui up against most other mangas. He stomps.
