store.steampowered.com/app/294860/I'm also waiting for this game to go on sale for at least 50%. I probably missed it when it goes on sale last time. Look at the score. it must be really good. Let me know what you think of it when you pick it up.

I've heard of another issue other than region locking. probably similar but not entirely.
As you can guess, my currency is Peso. price of Valkyria Chronicles is 499 peso. that's like $11, while the original price of it is $19.99. that's almost half the price, right? really cheap. If I come from a country with higher currency value, it's ok. but not the other way around, I bet steam is going to take away my games just like the dude from steam community. and have you purchase your game again with the updated value to your new location. that's kind of lame. I wish steam peso was never introduced.
Also I noticed some of the JP titles doesn't have a price for Yen, it says not available(I am using steam enhanced to view that). Japanese title locked in japan? strange.

Naturally they want to make their money so keep it hush hush.

Wow. I don't know the site, I say, it's kinda cool. I'm not sure how it works but isn't this gifting restriction affects this site?

Are you asking if you can do gifts? no, I'm just wondering how they will send me the game. by key? Yes, you get a key to use on Steam. In fact I shop around on different websites all of the time, in my own country. Do you use Cheapshark?

Key is not affected like like the ones with gifting restrictions, right? how do they do that? They'll tell you which ones work with Steam. Many will say (requires a steam account to use), although some like Origin have their own game launcher so you just use theirs.

Another Japanese company has jumped ship to join mobile. This time it's Konami: www.ign.com/articles/2015/05/14/konami-focusing-on-mobile-games?readBY ALEX OSBORNKonami's future lies in mobile game development, according to the company's new CEO, Hideki Hayakawa.
"We will pursue mobile games aggressively," Hayakawa told Nikkei Trendy Net (via NeoGAF). "Our main platform will be mobiles. Following the pay-as-you-play model of games like Power pro and Winning Eleven with additional content, our games must move from selling things like 'items' to selling things like 'features.'
"We saw with these games that even people who buy physical games are motivated to buy extra content," he continued. "The success of Power pro especially has motivated us to actively push more of our popular series onto mobile than ever before."
As such, it looks like Konami's presence in the console space will continue to shrink, which shouldn't be all too surprising, especially in light of the recent cancellation of Silent Hills and Hideo Kojima's reported departure from the company.
"Gaming has spread to a number of platforms, but at the end of the day, the platform that is always closest to us, is mobile. Mobile is where the future of gaming lies," Hayakawa added. "We hope that our overseas games such as MGSV and Winning Eleven continue to do well, but we are always thinking about how to push our franchises onto mobile there too."
I must be psychic because I stated to myself that this was japans last gen and looks like I was right.

What do you think about Smart Phones and Tablets as gaming platforms? Fun but not great for a lot of genres. More of a quick fix type of gaming.

But not for intense gaming. Yea, they have no d-pad and worse controls for certain games. If I want to game on the go, I use my PSP or gaming laptop for the heavier stuff. My solution was to get a convertible laptop/tablet with a dual digitizer for drawing. I love it for on the go as I don't even need to plug it in. A wonderful machine.
