Does the PS2 version have netcode? This one does so it's definitely a good reason to get it, plus it's on PC for quick access with full controller support. If we got Xrd and Chronophantasma, I'd be in bliss. All we'd need then is Tekken and Virtua Fighter and we'd be set. Oh and Soul Calibur.

Oh and Soul Calibur. nah no netplay for ps2 version. the pc ver could be the best port to play ac+r cause one of the guys on dustloop did this test a while back and found the pc ver of reload had the same input lag as arcade www.dustloop.com/forums/index.php/topic/6004-ggxxac-input-lag-testing-results/. i passed on the ps3 version hoping for a steam release and it happened so it was a good call from me. Yea id say that Virtua Fighter is all but confirmed to be on PC since Sega did a huge restructuring of resources to focus on pc/mobile.

It definitely makes sense that it runs better on the PC. People like Accent Core Plus as well so it's a good call. VF is more likely to be on PC than console nowadays. I know they were asking about Killer Instinct being on PC, so that'd be good too. Hopefully they release a VF collection of the old stuff too. That'd be great.

im also crossing my finger hoping that more indie devs for fighting games like the ones who made akatasuki blitz kampf come to steam. the do release their games on pc but its usually on a Japanese only site.

I think they will eventually. Japan has to get back in the game with other developers who are making money all around. Hopefully Skullgirls sends an example to the rest of the small developers that it can work.
