What do you guys think about this? I find his approach is interesting because I like the blunt approach. I always wondered if it would cross the line twice and end up working. I know if I were to run I'd piss people off because I wouldn't cater to feelings either.
Thoughts?

hmmm. Its not so much can he win but will he stick to his platform if he did win. That is the main issue with politicians.

I like a lot of what he says, but when I was reading up on him he was talking about how China depends on us, and how we should tax the wealthy more to give others a break (small business). The income tax is bad. I'm not saying he's Obama, just that I'd like a more full free market kind of guy. I haven't read his most recent stuff so he might have changed his tune.

Wow, that sounds awful. Even Bush and Mitt Romney/Paul Ryan advocated tax cuts for the rich.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bush_tax_cutsOutside of big military spending. Tax cuts and welfare cuts have always been a target from the right. But, people hate it because it stops the gravy train. Also, Joe Biden is a moron. Never got why he's taken seriously.

These politicians flip flop their position so much it's hard to know what they support. Romney especially.

His son is better than Obama, but not as libertarian as his father. Seems that helps his appeal for what it's worth.

The world isn't ready for libertarians period. When Ron Paul ran last time he did so as a republican. So, while not as free the right is the closest we got. I personally would vote republican if we get someone at least like Rand Paul.

I personally would vote republican if we get someone at least like Rand Paul. Well because he wanted to be identified under a particular party since we have a dumb two party system. The sheep need to be corralled, but Ron Paul is libertarian belief wise for sure.

What I mean't was the closest of the two parties to libertarians is the GOP. Not that it's saying much.

Honestly at this point in time Trump seems like the line towing republican type. He doesn't seem to really want to cut it in any drastic areas, and while he is better than Obama and blunt on some things he's definitely not libertarian as far as I can tell. He seems to be popular in some groups though.

I mean like what things about the parties ideas do you like ( If you like anything ) or dislike? Being left along and being able to keep my personal property. Libertarians were supposed to be in the middle of both parts, but it's seen as the right with pot smoking or something lol.

It's because progressives are crazy. I think of republicans focused more on personal freedom and responsibilities versus the moral stuff. Would you ever vot republican?

Well socialists say they're about caring, and republicans like to say they're like freedom. They're really just a slightly smaller government version of the democrats. They believe in big programs and big spending that gets them votes, hence why they'd never cut Medicare, Social Security, or school spending. So what's the point when they're almost identical? Yea he's not Obama bad, but the Dems in the distant past didn't spend as much as some of these republicans. It's a joke. They talk about teamwork which is just more spending. I don't want a Romney or Bush. It's all a joke.

Republicans are basically libertarians who don't really mean it. You heard the term cuckservative ? Describes mst republicans. This is why I don't like group think. It just panders to a stupid base. I like freedom and that's that. Why do we need these conveniently labeled 2 party systems? Because people are too dumb and lazy to do research which is why democracy is stupid. People just voting on some group based on what their friends say is "good" or "bad". Just like most blacks vote democrat. These republicans just want to cater to a Christian style base of people who say they want freedom but want more programs. At least the democrats generally admit they're about giving losers free stuff although they never admit they're socialist.
