This shows yet again that these extreme financial problems are not to be ignored. How many countries can fall to the same thing before people learn?
This just leads to military/government takeover.

Maduro still has a sizeable amount of the population supporting him even with all the major life threatening problems the country is facing. How he even has one person still supporting him is beyond me but then again socialism and probably some meddling from the united states government is why the country is in the state it is in. How people still believe in socialism when time and time again in history the end result is catastrophic failure is mind boggling.
Also in 2012 the Venezuelan government banned private ownership of guns and now the city of caracas is one of the most dangerous cities in the world. Although I think the Venezuelan government saw the economic trouble it was going to face in the future and banned the guns so the Venezuelan people couldn't fight back against the corrupt government

I guess people want an easy solution and want to be taken care of without really thinking. The fear of self reliance that people are willing to face destruction to avoid it.
It's only a matter of time at this point.
