The wii is more like the GC and the PS2, the PSP did poorly because of lack of games. Nintendo's console system always has less games than playstation and runs off of First party games. The playstation will have 3 generations of titles under it's belt. The Wii will do good at first because of it's cheap prices and more units shipping, but it will be the same people buying it. I saw first hand that PS3's were sold out very quickly. Playstation had the worst graphics both generations before and won, but now it has the best with more of the same thing.

I don't think the wii isn't fun, but I wouldn't compare it to DS and PSP, console wars are always different.

My point was that with the DS it is about inovation, and a new style of gameplay. The PSP is about graphics, and it more of a media player.

It is the same with the Wii. The Wii isn't advancing in graphics like the others, and the whole point about the system is how it played (like the DS). The other consoles focus on graphics (like the PSP).

Really when I think about I think all will do well, but I personally think Wii will do the best.

It's a wide library of games with more power... and some new tech.

And XBox is all about Halo I can attest to this because that is going to be huge reason why alot of me and my friends are going to get the XBox 360.

Although I think a big reason why the PS2 did so well is because it was the first to launch and b the time the others came out it already had a ton of games out so people on the ropes would buy based on vaiety already out.

Isee this advantage going to the 360 this time around.

360 is only doing well in America, it's been out and it didn't cause the stir of the other two systems. So I don't know about that.

Playstation did well because of it's launch titles, despite many people having flaws with the machines (although I wasn't one of them).

Mine had a flaw and since the largest Market is in America I assume that is just fine.

Had plenty of good games but the first games weren't that good. I remember that the best game that was luanched with the PS2 was Summoner.

Had plenty of good games but the first games weren't that good. I remember that the best game that was luanched with the PS2 was Summoner.

Twisted Metal black rocked too... I don't remember Xbox having much at all... GC usually starts out with the best, but is inconsistent.

just a quik jump back onto topic, with mi own opinion on the consoles as of now, lol, big werds:

The XBOX 360: Has a nice amount of power behind it to use for graphical quality, as well as some other things The early games didn't catch too well in my eyes, but now some of the "later" games are getting better and more addictive.

The PS3: Has an amazing amount of power that PC's can just recently match. Not many sequels of games are coming out for it, but the "usual" developers are making games for it, like Insomniac with R:FoM. Has the [apparently now] standard wireless controllers, with motion sensitivity, wich R NOT LIKE the Wii's.

The Wii: The only console that doesn't have a number in it's name, lmao. Has motion sensitive controllers that have a "familiar" feeling being shaped like a remote, and it actually knows where it is in the world. It's starting games all got extremely good ratings [4/5 on X-Play on G4]. And right now, dominating in this war!

I was anticipating the Wii to win this war. The price difference aided it greatly but what really scores the victory here is when games like Madden end up being better on the Wii not because of graphics but because it's just more fun. Once other companies figure it out I'm certain the Wii will be unstoppable.
