Bioware makes games known as Neverwinter Nights, Knights of the Old Republic, Baldur's Gate.

I'm kinda mixed with it. I like (or don't mind) the idea of it, but only if it doesn't affect their games.

Oh, it's going to affect the games all right. EA's known for that (Westwood anyone). The only reason they ever buy (good) companies is to get their IPs (intellectual properties) so they can make a bunch of half-assed crap and sell tons because it has the blahblahblah name here or there.
