Battle of the Bosses round 3!

Alrighty, we have our 6 contenders from the previous two matches, they are as arranged!

The winner or round one is

Akuma/Shin Akuma

In 2nd place:

Red Arremer

And in 3rd place:

Master Bison

The winner of round 2:

Goodman

in 2nd place:

Orochi/Mizuchi

and in 3rd place:

Rugal/Omega Rugal/God Rugal

Rules:

#1: If a character has had more than one apperance, consider this to be an amalgam, in other words, each character has all the techniques he's EVER had, even from non-canon games. NO outside of videogame abilities though, only techniques from within the games.

#2: Unlike the last 2 rounds, this match is not decided until there is one last man standing... then he goes into the final round against my own handpicked opponent.

#3: The battlefield is the grassy plains that Ryu and Sagat fought on, thus giving nobody the edvantage of terrain.

#4: No extra weapons are avalable (Example being Bison's satelite cannon), Only techniques that are avalable within the games can be used, or actual fighting techniques, no outside interferance.

#5: If the character required plot device to either win or lose (Example: Orochi), that is also disabled, the character must win on his or her own merrits now, and not plot conveniance.

#6: Unlike the last 2 rounds, this match is not decided until there is one last man standing... then he goes into the final round against my own handpicked opponent.

How did rugal make it, but not igniz? Lord Rugal is overated. . .

I might have miss something myself. It is hard to choose with all the Gods there, but while G. Rugal is powerful, he can be hard pressed to argue in a storyline argument because of his lack of feats.

It's more to do with that unconfirmed source that tells me that Rugal was the secret benefactor and instigator behind the NESTS plot... which would put him well above Ignis... This is supported by Rugal's credits ending where he remices about Ignis and the other NESTS bosses... And the fact that he wears an enhanced battle suit and has downloaded all the battle data ne NESTS collected.

This, combined with the Satsui No Hadou stuff, and his own Orochi enhanced powers has led me to beleive that Mr. Bernstein edges out Ignis.

However, this is merely my interpretation, the thread can be subjected to change should the real winners of the previous rounds be contested.

I believe they gave G. Rugal more than they gave S. Gouki. G. Rugal is really a totally different character, while S. Gouki is a Gouki 1.5.

I must disagree... G isn't really any more than Shin, Where Shin has speed, G has the range on his normals, Both share the same damage and HP similarities, and both have insane priority.

I meant that they did much more to make his character different, they made him look much different, sound much different, gave him a teleport, 2 more supers, etc. S. Gouki got one new move (and a souped up version of it), with bigger fireballs. But S. Gouki wasn't entirely new so they just did what worked. G. Rugal was more new.

Gameplay wise I do have to say G. Rugal is easier to win with (as in it takes less skill). He is more geared towards his normals, specials, and range. It's beastly giving someone with that much range that much speed and priorty. Imagine a G. Sagat or something.

Good point, But ingniz is not the leader of Nest. Nest is the Leader of Nest. Igniz kills him during the events of KOF 2K1. So, even is rugal is behind Nest, I doubt that effect his power. If Rugal is using Satsu No Hadou, then he has a Slight edge due to gouki's killing power. I'm Surprised Athena did not make it and I wish Geese was in these thread.

Anyway, I'm not sure about the winners. God Rugal is taken out by Shin Gouki, though.

I don't know about Arremer, but Goodman should be way up there, perhaps even above Orochi, Mizuchi was a more powerful copy of Orochi, and he falls easily to Goodman.

He actually created Mizuchi from his own power, so my guess is he can overcome it with relative ease.

Off-topic: I finished my cody respect thread!

I have to say though, I'm glad and sad at the same time. The thread was okay, but it was so short. Cody has only been in 3 relevant games: FF1, FFR (His plot is covered in A3 as well), A3 (Similiar events as FFR). So, I did not get enough info. . . I might cover sprites from Mighty Final fight and some miscellaneous info ( which I already did with Jessica), but that it. No, relationship with guy or anything else) So, it was short.

Yes I did.

Only the powers one would normally have, no plot devices, no PIS, and no CIS.

So, do we have a winner to take on the final opponent (And don't ask who that is, because I'm not telling you until the final round is ready!)
