Currently Bleach is my fave. That is a hard decision because there are so many good shows. It is a lot easier to just pick a top five or something.

Let's see.
Indepth plot
Fantastic animation
Engrossing characters
Spectacular music
Outlaw Star has it all. It's one of the best made animes out there.
And it's fun.
Monster beat out Outlaw Star in my book because it just entertains me more. I find I'm more addicted to Monster than I have ever been to Outlaw Star. That's really saying something.

"The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya" is an anime about a high school boy who befriends a girl that has the ability to manipulate the universe. Unfortunately, she's oblivious to her powers. Soon, they become friends with a time traveler, esper, and an alien. They all have to do whatever it takes to keep Haruhi from being bored since her boredom, as weird as it may seem, could cause the destruction of the universe. This is a science-fiction/comedy anime.
"Goodbye*, Mr. Despair" is an anime about an extremely pessimistic teacher who shares his views and experiences about several things with his students. It's an extremely funny anime that parodies other animes and many other things. Obviously, this is a comedy anime.
You should check out some episodes of these animes on Youtube because they're really good.
*I said "So long" instead of "goodbye", which is the incorrect word in the title.
