Do Finnish metal bands qualify? Some of them sing in English... How about industrial metal in general? I've got a soft spot in my heart for Nine Inch Nails, Laibach, Ministry, Einstürzende Neubauten, Skinny Puppy and such.

Oh certainly, I was just referring to Finnish bands made up of trolls in that one post.
Anyway, while that soft spot sounds like something that you might want to get looked at by your physician (you never know), I will say I listen to Godflesh's Streetcleaner on occasion.

Well if you're going to throw metal in general in there, might as well include DragonForce, Metallica, Children of Bodom, Disturbed, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Bullet for my Valentine, Slipknot, and Drist. They're all capable bands that few remember nowadays, though I still like them all.

Wow, talk about not visiting this board in a month! Well… I love Black Metal for its extremely dizzying speed, the atmosphere it generates that no other genre of music can create, that feeling of icy cold and yet majestic beauty (a lot of it has beautiful melodies), and the screamed vocals. It really appeals to me.
