personally i don't mind them even if the the levels are linear, Have'nt played every single one them like some hardcore fans of the games have

only ones i own are

Call of Duty 1
Modern Warfare 1 & 2
World At War

I think it's a decent game, but I think there are much better games out there. It does seem to be overhyped nowadays though.

I've played the modern warfare games, they are pretty good. But my favourite part was hunting down nazi zombies in MW2's bonus game.

the latest one thats out Black Ops also has the zombies mode.

That's my problem with them, too overdone. They are also overrated by many.

Playing the games on the hardest is a good way to get more out of them

altho i've been playing Modern Warfare 2 on Veteran (Hardest mode) and just seems too easy or i'm just too good for it now.

I've always been a fan of playing on the hardest available difficulty first. That way you don't know what "easy mode" is.

I played MOW2 and really like it. I think I'm going to get a PS3, soon. When I do, I'm definitely going to get MW3, day one.

I like the Modern Warfare series

they've actually created characters and re-used them, Unlike the other Call Of Duty titles where they created them for that one game and thats the end of them
