PC is overall better, but the Mac is better made than most lower end pc models. People who buy Mac tend to buy trends. I have used both extensively. If you custom build a really good PC, you'll have all of your needs taken care of. I don't like relying on Mac's software either. I like having more options.

I have a 17" Mac Powerbook Pro, I bought it only for the aesthetics and build quality of the unit.
But I run Windows 7 Ultimate and Linux/GNU via dual-boot. Never cared for the Mac OS.

All right, let's cut it down on the silly reporting. I'm getting a bit annoyed with coming on and dealing with childish firefights. Unless it's some over the top, really bad rule breaking, or seriously bad spamming (which doesn't happen here), don't use the report button. It hasn't been used before in 6 years and there's no need for it now. This site isn't supposed to be a tense place or a noobfest like KMC. It's just for the guys to come on and chill with.
I'm starting to think this had something to do with the proboards thing.

So I have a unit of measure. Right, but you're in other threads asking if people are retarded, calling people fanboys, etc. So you reporting just makes you look as much as guilty. Now if people want to ignore each other they're more than welcome to, but saying "you're dumb" isn't something that needs to be reported time and time again if two people are doing it in jest. I've already asked everyone to calm it down, if you want me to hand out warnings over silly insults I can do so, but your insults are recorded just as much. Obvious spamming, constant ganging and harassing of one member who has done nothing wrong, posting graphic violent images, copyright infringement, etc. Are reasons to report and to have it looked it. Saying "you're a fruitcake" is just more or less a waste of space, as we're all adults here and we should be able to get along without constant babysitting. Toobz was making a joke about himself, I don't think any harm was intended by it. |
