OK, so Superman and Hancock have captured YuLaw (Jet Li, "The One.") During an interrogation, YuLaw lets it slip that he can travel between verses, just as he did in his movie. He also leads Superman and Hancock to believe that in one of the verses are the HP Wizards. He lies and says that the Wizards pose a threat to Superman and Hancock's world, that they plan on invading each verse, one at a time, until their verse is the only one left. Superman buys it and tells YuLaw that if he leads them to HPverse via interdimensional travel and acts as their guide to find the Wizards, his past crimes will be pardoned. Also on Superman's side is The Seer: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Seer_%28Charmed%29In HPverse, Gabe Law just happens to be close friends with Dumbledore (Gabe is from the same verse that Superman/YuLaw are from, but he travels to HPverse on occasion to visit) . Alice, from "Twilight", is also a friend of the Wizards. Alice foresees Superman's arrival a day prior to his arrival. Gabe Law, aware of Superman and Hancock's powers, briefs the Wizards on what Superman can do, his capabilities, etc.....So Dumbledore goes to Voldemort, warns him of the pending attack, and they decide to put their differences aside to defend their world. Every Wizard from all of HPverse are involved. They decide to make their stand at Hogwarts castle. So....Here are the teams: HOGWARTS: Every Wizard in HPverse (all spells, potions, charms, etc), Gabe Law (with access to interdimensional travel, and at full strength as he was at the end of his movie) and Alice (capable of seeing the future). SUPERMAN: Superman (full powers), Hancock (as he was at the end of his movie, full strength) , YuLaw (with access to interdimensional travel, and at full strength as he was at the end of his movie) and The Seer (capable of seeing the future.) And as I said, each side is briefed on the other, on who is who, and have a days prep. They are fully rested and at full strength. Do the Wizards defend their world, or do Superman and friends apprehend/kill them? So all media counts then? Likely Superman. But movie Superman is considerably weaker than the comics version and may be a different story.

No they don't. They can counter some things, but not his speed. They don't react fast enough.

True, he doesn't hit c instantly, but he does go faster than human reaction quite easily.

No, he doesn't. In Superman (Reeves) he had his top flight speed feat. It took him a few seconds to reach the clouds. Superman holds back the majority of his power, it's in his character. |

you said superman has "full powers" and he has moved so fast in both the comics and various animations were people can not see him and he appears to be appearing out of thin air

True he isn't instantly at c, but he's way faster than they can react nonethless. You can't change the rules halfway through the thread. |

He has to attain said speed. The wizards can just glance in his general vicinity and freeze him. It doesn't take long, and it's still faster than they can hope to react. He can react to the Flash for crying out loud (unless Flash is in full speed force mode). The wizards have to do more than that to cast spells. |
