OK so the Yuuzhan Vong (Star Wars novels) decide to invade Earth. They wipe everyone out except for every Wizard from the Harry Potter books/films.
The Wizards are unaware of the Vong's capabilities, but are aware of the imminent attack.
The Vong too are unaware of the Wizards capabilities. The Vong cannot blast Earth from high orbit, they need the planet intact.
Who wins?

is this a joke thread? the vong would dominate, they take out solar systems before breakfast and just as they're immune to the affects of the force since they're from a none force galaxy they'll be immune to magic since their galaxy is none magical

No, but this forum, like all others, reeks of Potter hate. I don't think people here hate Harry Potter. I don't think most places hate Harry Potter. They're very upfront about it if they do (like Twilight). I've seen and read all of Harry Potter, I just don't like characters being over-hyped, and Harry Potter has hardcore fans. |

Numbers advantage? The numbers will dwindle as the Vong charge haphazardly into a shield that disintegrates them. Also, hundreds of wizards in smoke form casting fiendfyre, Dementors.......yeah.....

I.... umm..... I'm not too sure how HPverse magic would work against the YV anyways, it would probably be more effective than what the Force was, being that most would draw that parallel...
That said, the Vong where known for using biological warfare... Virus bombing a planet would leave the planet itself intact and kill everything on it, thats one example.
and the Dovin basils... I dunno if that can negate magical shields or not...
I hate drawing assumptions, so I think I'll leave this thread well alone.
