It looks like things are coming around. Unfortunately, nobody told these people that when taxpaying jobs end, so do taxtaking jobs.

Good point about Susan B Komen foundation. I recently gave a pretty large sum to fund prostrate cancer research. But, that's misogyny on my part.

I do wonder what would happen if certain jobs considered to be vital infrastructure, such as electrical power generation or distribution, were to suddenly strike for restoration of basic rights? Want to be it would be a societal nightmare? Not for better pay, or something actually work related, but just basic human rights to be treated equally in the law of the land....

P.S. I get the feeling that the other forum, where you and I met, thinks I was someone else. I still read the posts there, it's much easier than google searches that I am not very good at... wish I had paid more attention to Boolean operators in school.

Well, I think that eventually, the feminists and the politicians will drive all the productive underground. Or out of this country and off to one that understands capitalism.

And yeah, I've seen the issues, I'll just stop reading there, they'll breathe a sigh of relief not to see my IP address anymore, I suspect. I noted your comments on the Rich thread. Take a bit of advice from an old man: you can lead a horse to water, but you cannot make him understand work ethic or entitlement any more than you can make him drink.

Well that's what happens in any socialist/communist society eventually. It dies off because there are too many leechers.

I'm posting there a bit less. I want to spend more time here, and I want to add new stuff. That place is ok, I just want to spend more time on my own.

And yea, there are always going to be morons. It's the same thing with arguing with men on marrying in this time, some just won't listen to the blatant truth. I'm at the point where I just let people think they're being smart. I try to help a bit, but eventually it becomes a big waste of time, because people don't really want help, they want something for nothing. It's why this country is falling apart.
