This is a sad story, in ways it's sad not only for the civilians but for the way our own troops (read men) are treated and discarded after they've served their purpose. Notice how the article points out they were women and children? Why not say civilians or people? We all know why.

lol It's been that way for years, now. Country's been goin to hell for almost a decade now, but we've been spendin billions destroyin (with the intent of controllin) other countries. Priorities of the government are really phucked up.

Sorry. But I had to laugh, very hard, at the above comment.

It's really funny too, cuz I got a classmate who joined the army from playin CoD and thought it would be fun, I swear to God, I'm not lyin. We asked him, was it fun. . .he said. . ."Yeah"! His exact words. And he's not the only person I've met who said they enjoyed the battle fields in the middle east. What the hell is going on over there?

It's true, there are many people who get sent in because they want to kill for the hell of it, even if they are holding a criminal record. The army doesn't want mercenaries with a conscience after all. There was some vid of a person throwing his medals saying he didn't want to be a part of it anymore.
