Thanos is strong enough to pimp slap Silver Surfer. People just give Goku the win over everything.

I remember in Thor V2, Thanos tanked a planet busting attack with 0 damage. That's insanely impressive.

I still think he's a higher level. If Superman beats Goku, Thanos definitely does.

When I was reading Thanos quest for the chalice of unending. It didn't really seem like Thanos had any real problems handling Thor. He ultimately lost to CIS. But, most of the time he'd just sic Mangog on Thor and that was enough. It's like Thor wasn't even worthy.

I'd say he's above Thor, Superman, and Silver Surfer. He's below Odin though. Just my opinion.

I think the bias depends on the website. KMC for instance in the CvS forum will almost always side with the comic character vs characters from other media. Anime sites will take the opposite approach.
