He looks fine in his helmet, but too human like without it, IMO.

He's been using another cosmic cube in the 'Avenger's Assemble' book, One that was made by the U.S. military....so basically a bootleg one.

They also re-released 'The Thanos Quest' recently, It basically leads into the Infinity Gauntlet

probably did for the people who went and seen the Avengers movie so they can read up on him

That's a smart move. It helps bring people into both bases.

I only just started getting into Thanos with his appearance with the Avengers Assemble book, Its been okay even if Bendis is writing it.

Its not that hard to get up to date with what's happen with the Mad Titan

i watched a video over at Comicvine......amazing how many times he's died and found a why to come back.

That Cube he's using in 'Avenger's Assemble' book isn't actually a cube, Its a portal to energy from another universe.

That Thanos is always using shortcuts.

People still think of him as a Darkseid clone, He's nothing like that at all he may look like him as first but you read up on each other's backstory they're different.

Haven't actually read any of the early books featuring his origin

some of the KMC folks in the comics section say Jim Starlin his creator didn't really do much with with it.

My first comic that I read about Thanos was Infinity Gauntlet 4.

I then collected his appearances for a few years. I actually have 2 sets of the 1st printing of Thanos Quest.

Probably Thanos Quest into Infinity Gauntlet. His own series was good as well, him attempting to attone for his past deeds.

He had his own group during the Infinity story called The Black Order, Most of them all got imprisoned in a amber cube along with Thanos

but then they formed the Cabal with Namor after being freed by Maximus the mad.
