Absolutely! They'd arrest them then castrate them on a bed of nails. #faintthud# That wouldn't hurt much...due to intense meditation. Ah, you're like a monk huh?

Only the greatest of all monks...the nameless monk who fought thousands of battles for justice and truth.
Times have gotten a lot less chaotic, now I spend my time browsing your forum waiting for the next evil to vanquish.
...I am also Killface...

Well, there are many evils to be vanquished. I'm surprised you're not busy.

Now I have laid on a bed of nails but I've never been castrated. Bed of nails is uncomfortable but being castrated doesn't seem like the sort of thing even a nameless monk could withstand.
What if I said, "Castrated with a rusty spoon?"

Do you think the Crusaders really, really believed in God or just said they did? If they had bothered to read the BIBLE they wouldn't have done that. Same with a all psycho Christians. Oh, I'm sure they believed in God and whatnot. But bear in mind that most Crusaders couldn't read the Bible (the KJV wasn't released until the early 1600s), they were just going off of what the priests told them. ----- Wylcif's Bible was released in the 1300's, although the church frowned upon that version. But there were translations of passages from much earlier than that. But I do agree that the Vulgate would have been the correct version that they would have been worshiping at the time and most of the people could not read Latin. BTW I wanted to compliment you guys (especially Magic Attack) on how good you've been through this discussion. Normally people get heated and start blasting each other on this subject. I can't believe I missed this compliment.

Ron loves his compliments. But seriously, it is often taken for granted the power that comes from being able to read.
