NIV misstranslations?

Two passages taken out of the NIV version of the Bible:

Isaiah 14:12 "How you have fallen from heaven, O morning star, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations!"

Revelation 22:16 "I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star."

In the NIV version, it refers to both Jesus and Satan as Morning Star. So what do you all think about this?

Satan shouldn't be the Morning star, Lucifer translates into Morning Star however.

Makes for loads of interesting reads. I'm starting to grow more interest into that particular topic.

perhaps there is a difference between the bright morning star and the morning star.
Do you have the original greek and latin for both?
Also Satan certainly isn't the morning star anymore if he was before. And who's to say the title was exclusive to him?

I remember reading or hearing that Jesus was referred to as that as well. I'll have to check again.
