It's really good in the sense that I feel it's more plot driven then the other superhero shows and connects with the wider Marvel Universe. The only thing that sucks is what happened after Winter Soldier.

Spoilers but: Shield was actually infiltrated by Hydra years ago and controls it. After Hydra is taken down. Shield is dismantled. So, there's no more Shield lol. |

I think the story is kinda better than Arrow and the Flash. Even though those shows are better right now. AOS has way more potential plus it's connected to the MCU. They've done a much more stellar job overall. Better settings and acting as well too. But, Flash and Arrow are way more popular.

I think it's because they have a better budget. Arrow and Flash rotates between two cities: Starling and Central City because that's where the main characters are based. AOS goes everywhere including other countries. So, the story is more Global in terms of how it feels. There's a nice plot twist at the end of season 1 too. The acting is better as well.
Not trying to sound like a fanboy, but I went in it not expecting much. But, I think it's better than Arrow and Flash. Though, it takes a while to build up.
