You don't have to buy a new copy. You can update from SSf4 and SSF4:AE into Ultra.

If it's been done before then please delete this thread. Here's a loketest vid No bro. You're straight. And yea, I've been following up on that closely. Many people are looking forward to the new version. But many are complaining that delayed wakeup and the red focus will hurt key characters. How do you feel about SF4 and the new changes? How have you been? Haven't seen you in ages!

But many are complaining that delayed wakeup and the red focus will hurt key characters. How do you feel about SF4 and the new changes? I tend to hate constant changes in fighters because it hurts the meta game. Fighting games take years to pick apart and when you change something. The slow arduous process f discovering things starts back at zero. However, It can also be said that Capcom has "perfected" Street Fighter after all these years. I'm not too worried about the meta-game being broken. How have you been? Haven't seen you in ages! It's been a good while. I can't say I'm the same person. Alot of things have happened to me. But, I've come full circle.

But, I've come full circle. I think they were trying to change the way the game actually plays. From unblockables and knockdown exploits to more of a footsie style play that SF is known for. I think some of the mechanical problems are there because they try to make the game to "accessible" and people find ways around it by using that kind of tech. Hopefully this is the best version, but that remains to be seen. Do you think SF4 is the best version?

I didn't like the way the damage scaled in SF4 vanilla. People have been complaining about easy accessibility since Auto correct DP from what I heard.

I'd rather they get rid of ultra and have multiple supers and just increase the general damage. Well it's also with the design and how it rewards defensive play that people said help create all of those setups. Low block stun, safe fadc, etc, is what many complain about. I still enjoy the game overall though. Hey you should check my channel I upload matches of SF4 and Kof that I play as well as other stuff. I try to stay on the ball but I play SF4 here and then. So you like lower damage over higher damage? Imo, there's no point in having supers or ultras if the damage is so high. Back when SF didn't have supers, high damage makes sense. You could just do a dizzy or re-dizzy combo and destroy your opponent. You didn't need a super combo. But, if you have a super combo then you're gonna have to scale the damage normals and specials do in order to balance the game. Which is what happened.

Right you don't want insane damage, but SF4 is a very slow paced fighter with lower damage output and then Ultras do like 50-60% damage, which rewards the wrong kind of thing. I'm not really fond of comeback mechanics. And I definitely don't want SF2 type of damage where you won in a few hits (though they eventually have supers there). I'd rather get rid of ultras, make it so you have different supers to choose from instead of one, and just up the damage a bit. It will never happen though, but it's a thought.

Well, the original super combo was a comeback mechanic. The purist Street Fighter Experience is hyper fighting which imo is the best SF gameplay wise. But, games have to try new mechanics otherwise it would be the same experience over and over. It can't be helped.

Well you could make comebacks with it, but you didn't get it explicitly for losing every round. You had to conserve and manage your meter more. I like good new mechanics over bad ones. You had the FADC which is great and gives many characters great utility. Mechanics like X factor and Ultra are really to appease newer players, but my attitude is that if you aren't trying to get competitive on that level then simply play people around your own skill level and enjoy yourself. Did you see my page yet?

Don't take this the wrong way but I've been to your youtube page before. haha

Not really ultra related, but I never knew that Shin Akuma was in SF4 series. I mistakenly thought Oni was Shin Akuma. But, he's actually in the game as an npc:

Get Kof xiii on the pc steam edition, it's very light on the computer and runs really well. It's an excellent game and I'd say it's the best 2d fighter this gen. Honest and clean without holding your hand and easily the best balanced. I have videos up of that too. I much prefer it over SF4, though I still like SF4 mainly because of Evil Ryu lol.

I believe you. You already know my opinion on SF4 and It hasn't changed to much minus me being more mellow. I think KOF xiii is loads better.

You will lose against somebody who is better, badly, but it feels like you learned something and want to get better vs "WTF is this." kind of feeling. Anyways, it's half off: store.steampowered.com/app/222940/?snr=1_7_15__13I'd love to play with you. I am always looking for more training partners.
