If I was American I would give it a look. There goal is to get 20,000 politically active Libertarians to move to New Hampshire and create one free state. freestateproject.org/ It would be nice if they could actually accomplish seceding from the union and having zero tax.

Vote with your feet guys. Just move to greener pastures, get out of the west. Sounds like the best solution to me. Don't bother playing a rigged game. Knock the board over and play somewhere else.

There was a time where that would have made me mad. These days, I just grimace and say: "Enjoy your doom".

Life is for the living, this society, these people they're all dead. They just don't know it. Most people don't have the perception you do. The founding fathers knew this hundreds of years ago, and yet people just don't learn.

There's this movie called transcendence that's coming out with johnny depp. A thread was made about it recently. The movie revolves around transhumanist concepts, specifically A.I. that can surpass human intelligence. Anyway, one thing [many things really] about the movie that made me chuckle was the fact that the A.I. was being developed by some western guy. IRL, it would be a Japanese, Chinese or Indian guy developing the A.I. This goes into my next point. The thing about ideas is that other people can pick them up. The west has resigned it's good ideas to the waste bin. Other cultures that are more in need of the genius of their clever thinkers. Will come to pick those ideas up. But, the west itself is ggs.

There was a time where it would have been over here when the west was a place of freedom and innovation. Oh how have the times changed.

Is the standard of living in singapore higher than the west. Singapore has the highest per capita income in the world and has virtually no unemployment. They're doing it right and are considered one of the freest places on Earth. Right along with Hong Kong, another popular spot.

Right along with Hong Kong, another popular spot. Milton Friedman talked about Hong Kong. Good things were said, is there are list for free and prosperous nations?

I agree with some of that list overall, though the US might go down a few rankings for me.
